Is losing one's language and culture worth the wealth of an endless stretch of subdivisions and strip malls and turning everything into a plastic paradise for budget tourists and a giant fuel depot for the military? Is the sole measure of a society GDP and one's standing in the U.N. Democracy index?

Given that the nigger's father (who only showed up after Ben Crumb hunted him down and told him he was owed big fat stacks of cash because his crackhead son died) was dragged out of the courtroom after threatening to murder people? Yeah.

The Presidential Pardon is one of those things that are very, very hard to go after and very, very easy to defend due to how overly broad it is. The plan here was blatant and said out loud. Biden would not pardon hunter, setting up multiple potential venues for attack against Trump when he began his pardons. They needed that -lack- of a pardon because if Hunter's pardon stands then it establishes the President can pardon family (and presumably himself) and that politics is not a consideration for allowing a pardon to stand.

This precedent sets the stage for Trump to pardon J6ers, and presumptively pardon his family, his aides, and himself before he leaves office. And Biden... almost certainly knows this. Its why I leaned towards mutual pardons but either Hunter forced Joe's hand or Joe just stopped giving a fuck and wanted to do maximum damage to the Uniparty plans. Either way, unless the pardon gets successfully challenged... precedent is set.


Hence the Uniparty controlled DoJ playing petty games. its all they have to desperately try to salvage what now -was- going to be their main attack.

Yea that sucks, but it's cope to think that if America didn't get involved things would be "totally chill" today. The reality is self governance isn't really in the cards for island nations who aren't militarily equipped enough to defend themselves from colonization or who don't have a caucus of nearby nations they can ally themselves with to retain independence. Asia and Europe get to get away with this because they are insulated in their greater continental regions where they're able to foster alliances (Or just being in the arctic tundra where there's basically no reason to invade). Hawaii on the other hand is alone in the middle of the ocean, while at the same time being conveniently off the coast of America, so it would be a ridiculous assumption to think that if America didn't pull them in Russia and China would just be down to leave them alone.

While the outcome where one white man gets to legally eradicate the bloodline of some criminal nigger scourge is kino as fuck, the reality of the situation is he's more likely to be sentenced to pay a ludicrously insane amount of money to a section 8 housing complex amount of people. There's a higher chance that some of the accusers win the case from a jail cell for new crimes, than Penny getting off scot free.

Best case scenario for Penny is only being 5 figures in the hole for legal defense rather than 6, and we know damn well he ain't getting recompense if he somehow manages to come out with the W.

I'm not that delusional, and neither were the leaders of the Kingdom of Hawaii. They were desperately trying to get a protectorate from first the UK and then Japan. If you can't stay fully independent, then at least get a colonial ruler that will respect most previous property and social arrangements and not ban both school instruction and legal proceedings in your native tongue. The monarchy knew what was going to happen if France or the US colonized.

That said, the first missionaries came from New England and their descendants dominated the economy of the Kingdom, so it was fait accompli. If British Methodists were first, likely things would be very different and we would have followed the path of Fiji or Tonga. Not rich, but not a permanent minority who lost their language and culture.
