Nick couldn't dream of getting within 500 miles of any of those schools. For undergrad, UT Austin (aka main campus UT) is a top 10 in the country public university (considered a "public Ivy" by some people's accounts) and generally a top university nationwide.* To get into a graduate program at UT, you generally need really stellar academics beyond what you'd need to get into their undergrad program. Pure fantasy from Nick that he had a snowball's chance in hell of transferring.
*The only reason why UT's acceptance rates are marginally higher than say, University of Virginia or NYU is because Texas has an automatic admission process for Texas students who are in the top 6% of their graduating high school class.
And remember - this is a guy who, phrased very conservatively, came from a solid economic background, had two parents in the home, and went to a decent high school. He had every advantage but couldn't make the cut anywhere, either for college or for law school. He didn't have to work during school or even pay his own way. He has nerve thinking he's a "smarter-than-you" guy.
