I think he would have but he got pissed about their replacement for Chester Bennington back in september lol. I don't care enough to actually know what he's talking about, though. I guess Breaking Benjamin must have been the other favorite band he was referring to.

Learn to separate the artist from the art. And nobody cares beyond that. This is just more of Chibi screaming into the void to say, "look at me! See! I hate that band too but for the right reasons! Aren't I a cool guy?"

I don't care about her supposed sins in the court of public opinion, I just think she sucks because she sounds nothing like Chester (obviously) and they should have made a new band instead of exploiting the name recognition.

Exactly but I never listened to them in the first place. I couldn't care less about what scandals the lead singer or member of the band has done. If they have a good sound then that's all that really matters.

If you want to talk a change that really fucked up a band's sound it's when Gary Cherone of all people wound up becoming the lead singer for Van Halen.

Say what you want about Diamond Dave or Sammy Hagar they at least fit with the band's sound. Gary was fine when he was the singer for Extreme but not Van Halen. He went on one tour and they kicked him out afterwards and brought David Lee Roth back which worked out as back in 2006 it was their highest grossing tour of all time.

I just think she sucks. I hate her voice. My Linkin Park phase was really short lived but I will always listen to Limp Bizkit’s Significant Other and the first four Korn albums (I am acutely aware I just shat on BB and admitted to liking some real talented bands). She reminds me of the Poppy artist who is recently getting shoved down metal fans throats.

I thought that new LP vocalist was some dude who disrespected trannies 20 years ago but no, FIY it's some lesbian Scientologist who batted for another Scientologist who is a convicted rapist. And her singing sucks carpets.
 
The “detestable” things Linkin Park’s new singer did were be a Scientologist and show up in support of Danny Masterson (convicted rapist and former star of That 70s Show and other shows if you’ve never heard of him) at one of his early court dates. So not a good look, but she is still less directly linked to sexual assault-y behavior than Chibi himself, several times over. Of course he didn’t think of that though when he jumped on the social media bandwagon of being outraged and hating her. This is only like a week or two after jumping on the social media bandwagon of loving her because “omg Linkin Park is so brave to replace Chester with a WOMAN you go girl!”. I don’t think he ever heard her sing a single note during either phase.

But yes she isn’t very good. I heard, from Chibi’s posts actually, that they had a new singer and gave them a listen. She can mostly hit the notes but she’s just boring. They should have changed their name, Chester was their singer and wrote a lot of their songs, they’re not LP without him. This isn’t an LP or Chester sperg really. I liked Hybrid Theory as much as the next guy in 2002 or whatever and that was about it. This is just my general opinion on how a band should move on when a major member dies. STP without Scott Weiland, etc.
