Even if he hadn't gone full Balldo I doubt he'd have gotten much, if anything, in the way of a contract from Rumble. Around the time he fell off, Rumble was already cutting/not renewing a bunch of contracts on account of the fact they are still absolutely hemorrhaging money.

To give you an idea how bad it is, in Q1 2023 they had cash/cash equivalents of $326mil, by Q1 2024 they had cash/cash equivalents of $183mil. While the rate of decline is slowing, they're still losing tens of millions a month and in Q3 2024 (the most recent they've released numbers for) they're down to just $132mil.

One of my favorite traffic scams is a lot of places, if you show up for a points speeding ticket, they'll let you plead it to some vague count like "unsafe driving" (they seem to call it different things) which is a huge fine but zero points. So if you're in a state with godawful insurance rates, this can save you thousands of dollars in future insurance, so long as you actually have the $500 or whatever to pay up front, so it's generally worth doing.

This is marginally on topic because people have wondered "why would you bother with a lawyer instead of just paying a $95 ticket" and that's one reason why, although if you're remotely competent (like Ethan Ralph competent) you could probably manage it on your own just fine.
