The lack of Drex throughout all this was surprising to me. Unless I missed him popping up somewhere.

Actually it was about a year before the arrest that Drex stopped showing up, which lines up with Nick's sharp decline. Supposedly Drex just got busy, but it seems an incredible coincidence if so.

I am not really into calling it tattling, people can dislike steel toe but if two guys basically went through all your private info etc... and were talking about leaking it all online to intimidate you as a witness and just embarrass you and invade your privacy you would go to the cops too. Esp when one of the guys is a 400 LB hunchback creep to talks about PDFiling your daughter

It's not a coincidence at all.

Like I said, despite all the shit Drex gets, he does feel degeneracy has its limits, and dope is one of them. He's been clear about that for years.

There was a story making the rounds that he and Yellowflash were going to try and stage an intervention, but they couldn't do it before Nick got arrested.

And Nick is adamant he doesn't need help, even now, so it probably wouldn't have worked anyways. Nick doesn't want help. He wants enablers. You aren't any use to him otherwise.

- 90 day jail sentence (it's all suspended though for up to 1 year).
- $500 fine.
- $89 court surcharge.
- Warrant will be quashed.

I like it. And that could be a crime commissioned in Kandiyohi County, if Nick DM’d Aaron’s address to Ralph for that purpose.
Would that info be worth knocking his contempt of court charge down to not be a nationwide arrest grade offence? Does it work remotely like that?

Edit: breaking news while I was typing this : “Warrant will be quashed” - so that is indeed what they’ve given him. Was it in return for something like the above or did they just take pity on him after his pleading letter?

I think if there were ratting, he would have gotten a better deal. This seems almost boilerplate for the offense. @Jump watched the Killstream where Ralph talked about this, and Ralph seemed low energy. Of course they would quash the warrant after a guilty plea and sentencing. Why wouldn't they? There would be no point in having an active warrant if the plea doesn't involve incarceration.

My take on this is that Sterns County doesn't really care outside of Ralph disobeying a judge's order not to record the procedings. Sorry guys.

What remains to be seen is if he's gonna have buyer's remorse about this, and start ragepigging at Rekieta for not being his lawyer (protip Ralph: You wouldn't want that).

She addressed that, repeatedly, if it matters. She said she's never done anything for clicks and views regarding April.

I mostly believe her for two reasons:
  1. Geno has hated Nick with a passion for some time. On that stream, he (once again) yells from offscreen a bunch of stuff about what a drugged-out disgusting slimeball Nick is.
  2. The "I did everything for a specific reason" statement suggests to me that she was trying to publicly smoke out Nick about controlling April. Keanu was pretty successful if that was the goal. For at least 3-4 days, the conversation here, on Twitter, and in many streams focused on Nick's efforts to isolate her. It's now the going assumption in the public discourse.
Ironically, Keanu could be a useful idiot for Aaron's goals. It sounds like they conspired for her to go public. If so, fine. The more Nick's smarmy behavior can be publicized the better.

Separately, April's lawyer seemed competent in the Zoom hearing. I hope that she's getting the best advice. There's an easy solution to resolving her charges.
