Victoria has decided to be interested in subway trains as an autism affectation and mark of "masculinity."

My absolute favorite part about these gendertrenders is their screeching about gender as a social construct and therefore fluid by virtue of an individual's sense of self, but then they gender some dumb inanimate object bullshit like trains. Does this retard know there are girls who like trains? If she still thought of herself as female and someone told her trains are for boys, she'd blast everyone with a word-salady twitter screed about how wrong and unwoke it is to gender hobbies and interests. I think she just externalizes her self-hatred into a hatred of women and female-associated things (which can be any fucking thing since objects don't have gender or genitals), and now everything about her public identity has to be so MANLY and MASCULINE, even though her emotional affect is full melodrama and victorian-fainting-couch levels of waif delusion. This is exactly correct. People with Cluster B disorders often do this, they have no real internal sense of self so they just glom onto other people's interests and traits. but I lived next to an old couple with a severely autistic daughter, and she asked me what my birthdate was and what year, and then told me what day I was born on. I have no idea what her mental math was but it was amazing. True autists are kinda cool sometimes. I met another one who was obsessed with birds and wanted to be an ornithologist. Disagree TBH, some high functioning autists can often identify what a special interest is and that they are not always supposed to talk about it. Especially female ones, who tend to be better at learning social cues by rote.

I knew one autistic woman who would like, start talking about bees for 5 minutes straight and then stop herself and apologize and say "sorry, I was doing an autistic monologue" or something along those lines. She would also flat out tell you "please tell me to shut up if I'm talking about a subject that is boring you, it won't hurt my feelings, I just need to know outright because I can't tell if someone is bored or annoyed" which is a neat trick I've used since then.

None of this applies to Victoria of course, who just picked the most stereotypical "male autist" subject imaginable to fuel her man LARP.

I also did a little searching about vEDS on NIH's Genetic and Rare Diseases Information Center (GARD) and the vEDS Movement websites. According to The vEDS Movement "Approximately half of the children tested for VEDS in the absence of a positive family history present with a major complication at an average age of 11 years." and "By age 20, about a quarter of those with a known VEDS diagnosis have had a significant complication, such as bowel rupture, arterial rupture, or spontaneous pneumothorax." GARD says that symptoms may appear as early as infancy or before 3 years of age. The genetic analysis should be a very simple test for a single defective COL3A1 (or COL1A1) gene. So basically, she is full of shit.

I would be willing to bet literally a million dollars she does not have vEDS. No family history, no prior events (remember, this girl had her breasts cut off and suffered zero complications in surgery or recovery: pretty amazing for someone who supposedly has fragile blood vessels with the consistency of tissue paper!)

People with vEDS usually have a certain "look" to them as well (wide-set prominent eyes, thin nose, small chin). I think I posted this here before:

The trouble is that killing yourself takes some work in current year. Back when you could easily lay hands on enough Seconal for a quick and painless exit, she'd probably be toast already, but I have a hard time envisioning a present-day method that Vicky would be up for.

I’m not caught up on the thread yet but she better not try to grift for this. Sounds like the insurance denied inpatient level of care and instead is saying she should have been at observation level of care, which is less intensive and thus the insurance pays out less. Both inpatient and obs are considered admitted to the hospital, but the average person typically just calls being admitted to the hospital ‘inpatient’ and doesn’t realize there’s different levels of being admitted.

This type of denial does NOT impact what the patient pays. A hospital is not allowed to charge the patient for the difference between an inpatient payout and an OBS payout from the insurance.

It can be confusing for patients because insurances will typically send a ‘inpatient level of care has been denied’ letter to the patient and that of course sounds terrifying, like you’re entire hospital stay is not going to be covered by the insurance. But that’s not the case and further down in the letter is will clearly state that the patient cannot be charged for this. It’s between the hospital and insurance only. I honestly wish they didn’t send those letters out, or at least changed the main wording to be less inflammatory.
