One thing to consider is that we don't know what April said in her conversation with police that Nick went out of his way to object about, even though the right to be Mirandized before an interrogation wasn't his to assert on April's behalf. She clearly said some things that made her and Nick look bad, or he wouldn't have been chomping at the bit so hard to make sure it was excluded.

Whatever the problem was must have had something to do with her proximity to Nick because the police seem to have assumed her initial silence and apparent distancing from the Rekietas meant the problem was solved enough not to pursue charges. When they did file charges, that could have been meant as a shot across the bow that they didn't want her around. The recent tweet storm between her and Nick, and Nick heavily implying that he's leaving his wife for her might have made them feel like it's time to write it out unmistakably.

Nah, Nick and Kayla will have to be on their best behavior and play the most thankful and happy family today for Grandma & Grandpa Trustfund. Nick putting the case to rest and putting on a good dad behavior show is the only way he gets his parents to fuck off to Florida after the holiday season or by NYE.

April will be the one spending Thanksgiving alone in the rent free ho house. She could go to her parents, but probably doesn’t want to hear their thoughts on her current situation. Maybe April will use her rifle scopes to spy on Nick and judge if he’s being affectionate towards Kayla at the family gathering.

With the same preamble as you that I don't believe it's what happened, there was actually a study posted in the MNPublicRecords CHIPS file thread which found test-significant amounts of benzoy did form in samples from subjects who had street cocaine rubbed into their hair under otherwise normal conditions.

It does form, probably not in sufficient quantities in the sample->test timeframe in this instance, also we have no indication but Rekieta's word that this was the standard they used and he has displayed repeated illiteracy on this subject, ALSO he weaseled it up by not specifying what metabolites were "missing" from the test or why it would matter. It doesn't matter for example if they only test 2 of the possible dozen, if those 2 are sufficiently specific to rule out false positives.

Edit: Also correct me if I'm wrong @AltisticRight but you don't have any particular knowledge of the MMS test methodology beyond what they post on their website right? Do you have confirmation they use benzoylecgonine as the specificity marker?
