I think April is talking about a prospective rental place here, not the Balldo Bunker. But who knows wtf Ape is talking about most of the time, I don't think SHE even knows.

For conversation's sake, let's assume she IS talking about the Balldo Bunker. She may be confusing CC&R'S (covenants, conditions, and restrictions) for an HOA. The Balldo Bunker almost certainly has CC&Rs laying out things like how far away from the road buildings must be, fence heights, septic details, and basic conditions that are laid out when a neighborhood is subdivided from a large vacant parcel. Most homes have these. Enforcement is sketchy, it mostly gives neighbors ammunition to call local Code Enforcement or sue if you violate the CC&Rs.

It's still possible that there's an HOA on the Balldo Bunker if there is a private road shared by multiple properties. If this is the case, the HOA would deal almost exclusively on maintenance and upkeep on the private road, including mailbox encroachment and drainage ditches on private property that AFFECT the road. This type of rural HOA doesn't usually bother with aesthetics or groundskeeping like condo HOAs do. They're 99% worried about the road and nothing else, but that doesn't mean they can't go power-mad and try to fuck you.

I started watching Ralph sometime shortly before the BLM chimpouts. He has definitely lost many many brain cells since then. Prior to that he was not some genius but he had definite flashes of whatever he used to be. It's kinda depressing honestly. When he wasn't drinking or high, which wasn't often, he was actually fun to listen to. As soon as he takes a drink though he starts bucking up and puffing his chest out and talking like he's some big man on campus. You've encountered this same type of person in high school surely.

I am going to engage in rampant speculation about BBN.

We know he’s in contact with Aaron, for sure. It’s possible that Aaron has contacts with rats in the balldo bunker. And its also likely that Nick is sharing info with the rats and is being backstabbed by said rats.

But here’s the twist, Nick knows this, and has sent out goss that is too good to be true as a way of sniffing out the rats in bunker.
