Guys, don't overreact.

All this means they will have another hearing to discuss if a settlement can be reached.
Could be someone asked for a continuance, could be Nick did not show up, could be the state said "we might file further charges, we need 3 weeks".

This does not mean its going to trial.
Which means more billable hours for Barnswalker. FILE THOSE MOTIONS BISH! MAKE THAT BREAD. FINDOM BALLDOMAN

Nick Rekieta, do you accept the plea deal as outlined?

New date for settlement hearing is a give away that he did not plead.
Otherwise the chart would say sentencing hearing.
Why does the court keep letting Nick constantly jerk them around. The judges in my state would have lost their patience and forced him to either plea or declare he’s not guilty so the trial can start.

The way I read this is Nick didn't accept the deal and the state wants to keep trying to bring it to a close via a deal. But I'm a layperson whose only experience in court is one school report and a stint at jury duty where they plead out I didn't get to do anything.

December is another settlement conference. The judge thinks they can still work it out.

Which means Nick is willing to admit guilt for something, but not enough. Probably insisting the felony gets knocked down to a GM or regular misdemeanor and insisting the other charges go away - or demanding a stay of imposition/ bitching about probation conditions.
