That’s what I thought too, but then again I want to say someone explained that it would still get released if he pleads guilty. Maybe he bargained a plea deal where it can’t be released? I have no idea I’m no lawyer maybe someone can explain.
 
Look at the upside.
Nick pleading to a felony would mean he is on strike #1.
The whole witness tampering an illegal access of Aaron's google account is still pending and might be felony #2.

I give Nick 2 years until he does hard time as a 3time offender.

That's such a missed opportunity by the state, if i was the state i'd advertise this like a fucking box office in the whole country with billboards banners TV ads google ads. And since it's Nick Rekieta i'd even make an exception and let the judge rake superchats from the trial.

All I can tell you is that Claire has been kept in the loop by the authorities. Moreover, based on what @Vibralldo just posted, apparently Metokur has as well.

Torswats was kinda a big deal. They aggro'd the FBI with their bullshit. Not some small town police department. They were an international swatting ring. A criminal enterprise.

I find it impossible to believe that Nick thinks he was swatted by Aaron. Nick almost assuredly knows by now who swatted him, even if the authorities haven't yet contacted him. Moreover, Aaron wasn't even in Nick's life when this shit was going down.

Aaron would be 100% justified in raking Nick over the coals for this accusation, but he should probably just continue to STFU and let Nick hang himself.

Also, while the claim as made in the motion is not actionable, I would bet you anything people on Twitter will needle him about it, and Nick will repeat the accusation there. At which point, Nick might open himself up to yet another civil action (this time by Aaron).
