I think this person raises an interesting question.
Could a biological woman compete in Miss Trans USA?

I mean, trans women are allowed to compete in women's competitions, why not the other way around? Trans women are biological women, right? They're certainly not biological males, after all, and it's actually very offensive and transmisogynist for you to say so, how dare you. 'Biological woman' is just a completely arbitrary category society made up, after all. No, no, trans women are biological women, because they're women and I'm pretty sure they're made out of biological stuff and that's how that works, right?

So, given that biological women and trans women are exactly the same, what would be the reasoning to ban a biological woman from competing?

Except it has the exact opposite effect. Having been in and seen many group shots - and it doesn't matter the context - school, corporate, wedding, etc - people are arranged by height and the men are always at the back and the women at the front.

And it's the same here.

I can only assume they think normies glancing at the picture in a news article will not notice the careful positioning to make things look more normal-ish, because otherwise yes it is very blatantly obvious that they're shoving the tallest people in the room (the actual men) to the back so they don't tower over the lil doods in front.

It's a good point and a funny thought experiment but sadly they would likely use the same arguments they do against 'biotransgirls'. Something something cis privilege, something something oppression. They really don't need any strong argument because nobody will challenge them on it, and any women doing so would absolutely get attacked in the street.

That said it would be amazing to see one of the cleverer OF models who larp as trannies with dildos to do just that and claim that they're just expressing their authentic selves or whatever, can only imagine the unhinged seething.

Also excuse the rambling but it's tough to believe we've gotten to the point where men being rejected in women's beauty pageants and given pity wins is an issue not because of any philosophical or ethical issues with beauty pageants, but because they are somehow 'exclusive' to trannies. Like the real issue is troon feefees, not literally anything else. Andrea Dworkin's quote "Men often react to women’s words—speaking and writing—as if they were acts of violence" is always apt but it really does speak to this phenomenon of men (in skirts) pretending that acknowledging the differences between males and females in sport or refusing to use preferred pronouns or not making sure to cater to (specifically mtf 90% of the time, and often even more specifically transbian) trannies in one's language is some horrible affront to their right to exist (all the while claiming they are being genocided and killed "just for being trans") while simultaneously actually physically attacking women and being cheered on for it. Doubly so if the woman is a supposed wrongthinker - whether that's even true or not. Thousands of reddit and discord jannies will jump at the slightest hint of 'terfiness' but you have entire communities dedicated to violent, offensive, degrading porn featuring actual women and they're allowed to exist and to exclude trannies because they need actual women to get their rocks off. JKR gets mega cancelled for the most milquetoast essay I've ever read on trannyism and she's sent death and rape threats and dick pics in her replies to little children, but male authors and celebrities with genuinely sickening skeletons in their closets or even graphic depictions of child sex orgies are all still celebrated to this day. It's all just so unbelievable. I really could not think of a more insidious way to undermine women than troondom.

Others are complaining that the character’s face is too masculine, and pointing out the stubble/5 o’clock shadow on its face but… I really don’t see it. I genuinely think they’re dreaming it up. Also goes to show how deep they are in la-la land that they genuinely don’t believe sexual dimorphism is real. Males have male faces. Males grow facial hair. It would be realistic for the MTF character to look a bit masculine. It’s not a transphobic caricature to design an MTF character with a male face, it’s reality.

Also kind of interesting/funny how the character is instantly clockable even minus the trans flag phone case. Even if it weren’t for the male face. Women don’t dress like that. It’s funny how a lot of MTFs don’t know that you can tell the cisness of a woman based on fashion alone. Women aren’t obsessed with the ”shark plushie from a company founded by a nazi”.
