It's not literally impossible but you have to do shit like take a picture of your ID and your face and half of the time it doesn't even work and you have to redo it. There are ways of getting crypto that don't involve KYC.

I've said this before in the Snax thread, but this whole Brad Dennis twitter account still strikes me as too good to be true. We'll see how it shakes out. But this feels like a fed account to cover how they actually caught Torswats.
I.E. they don't want to admit they have feds inside Telegram, Kiwifarms, 4chan, probably ONA, etc; further, if they circumvented 4th amendment rights to catch him, it makes sense to set up a fake twitter account pretending to be a private investigator who just cracked the case on his own time. Then they can tell the media it was a private investigator and nobody asks questions.
Look at the twitter account. It was created during the height of the Rick swattings, the first 8-10 tweets seem AI generated, and then it does an abrupt 180 and starts talking about Torswats. There's also no trace of "Brad Dennis" anywhere else online.
I'm not saying Brad is a fed coverup, but I'm saying it's always looked that way and whoever runs his Twitter account definitely has an account here.

I think really the only explanation for how that Gemini account could be opened with his phone number by a stalker child would be a sim swap attack, but then 1. fatrick's phone would have stopped working and we'd have heard him oinking about how the stalker children will enjoy prison for stealing his phone number and 2. There would be a record of it with the phone company.
 
Whoever "Brad Dennis" is, if he takes down Oinker Prime for all the shit he blamed the OnA niggers and us for, I honestly don't care what his situation is. He could be The Glowie King himself, and I'd still shake his hand.

Yeah, the feds call this "collateral source" and it's when you create an "official" source for information you obtained either outright illegally or using some as-yet unknown zero-day or similar technique they want to keep secret.

I'm not really convinced. The guy seems to have some history and Torswats went after some fairly resourcesful and high profile Internet people, and it would be entirely reasonable for them to hire someone like this.

I honestly don't even care if he is, though. Based glowie for a fucking change.

Yes, if you want to interface with the banking system and exchange crypto and real Yankee dollars.

If you try to commit crimes with it (or even do entirely legal things like donate to wrongthink sites like Kiwi Farms), you'll get thrown off any exchange with U.S. rules.

So your other options are to build a rig and mine it yourself, or throw legitimate money through a tumbler service to end up with effectively untraceable laundered crypto. Converting to XMR/Monero has the same basic effect, which is why it and other privacycoins are popular among people doing sketchy/illegal things (and why normie exchanges don't touch it with a ten foot pole).

One of the few times I'm glad I'm a Yurofag, since we have different anti-money laundering laws and whatever and the exchanges all have their European division set up in Ireland. All I had to do to sign up to Gemini was send a photo of both sides of my state-issued ID card, as well as both sides of the debit card I'd use on the exchange. After they verified both (to be fair it did take 4 days) the final step was doing a bank transfer to the exchange in a specific way and that was it.
