Nick is so doomed - I wonder if he ever actually thinks about what he says and the insinuation and repercussions. Example: his entire transactional type of viewpoint to females is noteworthy in that he sees no transactional value in Kayla other than an accessory that allows him to swing; and April as merely a hot pocket; and I’ve yet to hear him describe her for any virtue other than being essentially a sex toy that performs blow jobs. His comments about lingerie being used to “wrap a present”is also telling of the entire reduction of a female to an object. He doesn’t see that these people view him too as a transaction now and his personality is null and moot - if he had no trust fund to snap up, he holds no value to a woman - he isn’t attractive and no lingerie will make him look any better.

As a consequence all his associates are now reduced to mere transactional value and are starting to realize all they represent is a means to an end.

It won’t be too long before his own children too start to do the same if they haven’t already. People like Nick are convinced that love bears out, but even children eventually wake up to the realization they were a checklist item and hold no value to a parent that views them as a transaction. Nick will say that’s not how they view him, but he is delusional.

"Hot" is completely relative in nerdworld. In a group of nerds the one chick, no matter how average, is "hot". If you ever hung out with comic nerds and Nick is a NERD in nerd groups any female is exalted. Nick is the rich nerd she glomed on to. The complaint that Nick has with the government's timeline makes no sense since he waived his right to a speedy trial. So if they are taking a long time that is his own fault, he can't complain about how long it takes when he himself wanted it to take a long time.

I am slightly disappointed that among all of these brutally embarassing and self-incriminating admissions that there isn't anything nearly as gay as we expected. Sure he's a little fruity but he hasn't (yet) admitted to having gay sex with Aaron. It's probably the only self-own left that could potentially damage Aaron as well.
