As someone who started his career as a marketing for a company that owned and managed gas stations, I could tell you many a story about how significant the gas station industry can get, especially if you provide an all encompassing experience.
One of our stations had a milk shake machine. And that alone increased in the revenue of the entire station by over 2 million dollars a year. A single milkshake machine.

Ok now that you said this, this is my speculation:

Nick was being truthful about "it's been a while since I've seen her (April)", maybe because Balldo the Elder was at the house and they prevented it from happening. Over this election weekend, maybe Balldo the Elder or Kayla's family took the Kids + Kayla somewhere else on a mini vacation, leaving Nick alone. Nick and April got together and one of them caved in to cocaine + alcohol again, and now here we are.

The moral I choose to take from this is that evil souls corrupt everything they encounter; he had THE upper-middle class existence served to him on a platter and couldn't rise to the very low bar of wilfully participating in it. Impotent dick, impotent life, impotent person.

We all laughed at the anti drug PSAs the school system made us watch as kids. Turns out they were 100% right.

Hopefully they can use Nick as the face of a new campaign.

This bitch is actually fucking crazy.

Most sane, well adjusted, non-narcissistic men do not put up with this kind of behavior. But Nick puts up with (and probably encourages and feeds into it) because it is advantageous to him.

Crazy people are easily manipulated and not credible, which is very convenient when you need someone to shoulder the blame for 26g of cocaine. “Your honor, this bitch is fucking crazy.”
