Yes, that is the point. Aaron did that through rationalizing and minimizing and disregarding the breadth of what he was doing. Then, some combination of factors led to him extricating himself and taking steps to make amends.
It seems that Aaron took action himself to leave, but even if he did solely get maneuvered out by Nick and April, oh well, then Aaron lucked into not destroying his life and relationships with his family any further.

Its worth remembering that top priority for both Nick and April at the time he left (or was kicked out) was getting Aaron to buy Nick's other house and put April's name on it with his. IMO, he didn't really get maneuvered out. He got presented with an escalating series of ultimatums about buying that house and moving next to Nick that ended with something along the lines of 'start doing what I say or go away'.

I think he has been reasonably clear that his kids didn't want to move and he had real concerns about the consequences of moving the kids there. I dont think the swinging, the drugs or the general degeneracy were a big deal to Aaron. But financially buying that house and getting his kids mixed up into the situation at Nick's house were probably a line he drew.

I am unsure about the legality of that though. It's pretty fucking shitty to do that, I imagine.

The thing is, if they've got an account logged in to access this, it could easily be forged.
