Unfortunately I wouldn't be shocked if the next episode is the final one where the caught killer gets put on trial and executed, I'd imagine that having to deal with obnoxious zoomers moralfagging about how fictional villains aren't allowed to do fucked up things left a bad taste in Urbanspook's mouth. If it is the case then it will be pretty interesting to see what he might work on next, that bodycam scene was genuinely well crafted and haunting.

I feel like the unidentified paintings found in the factory could be a good point for the series to expand, since even if the remaining killer is executed or incarcerated, the investigation is presumably far from over - considering the amount of death and misery the killers left in their wake, there's almost certainly loose ends that can still be tied together or used as a jumping off point for further stories set in the same timeline.

I'm a little late, but this may be the first time ever that I've unironically wanted a horror slop channel to cover this, because I don't know WHAT the fuck's going on here aside from the Lego island vibes. The fact that you probably need to actually reread it and think instead of reading a quick synopsis may make it take awhile for a horror youtuber to touch it, but hopefully, it being made by the Petscop creator will lure one to it.

So I've actually re-read it a couple of times already just to see what's up, and from about what I can piece together is this:
Someone has made a screensaver featuring 6 characters roaming about on their little island and red house together doing innocuous tasks. There is a fanwebsite that hosts this program by a woman named Pat Lawler or "PLawler" as what she's referred to on her site. Her site also hosts a fan forum talking with others that are obsessed with keeping this screensaver on and their experiences with it, a little too obsessed if you think about it. However not all is what it seems to be, as some users began reporting certain weird oddities happening in the program. "Inside 3dwi.scr", run by someone named "GKey", is a website that aims to report and document these strange sightings by users that have submitted their stories to him. These stories mainly focus on the character Amber (the girl in the pink shirt), where in one such instance the other characters form a circle around her and follow her before she disappears and a loud screaming sound is heard followed up by a (sometimes?) gruesome picture of a girl that might be her; this is what's mostly reported by users that have left the program running for a while. Another strange occurrence is "worker degeneration" that seems to also only affect Amber, her body will slowly turn red before "compression" starts to set in and she becomes a red ball with a low, quiet scream muffling sound being heard before she disappears and respawns.
Any mention of this website or stories on PLawler's forum will be met with link deletion or possibly a ban as is what happened to "GoodKid" for going against her.
There are other strange details in this story like how Pat in the real world has some kind of connection with Pat in the game (and maybe even shows contempt towards Amber), the fact that Grace (black girl with the purple shirt) never shows her face in any shot she's in, a website called "computer philosophy" that discusses "looking through a window into reality" and questions what does that mean for the people standing there behind the window, what was up with the intro page on Inside "3dwi.scr" that has GKey talk about his brother in the hospital and staying with him in the house, among other things.
Didn't really get it the first time, but after looking through most of the posts and website descriptions again really got the noggin joggin.

Got this video recommended, and honestly I'm intrigued.
Not so much in the game itself, but moreso in the presentation. A /v/ fag (steamfag is the player) links a stream of him playing a game he downloaded from /x/ and two people join in. I would've written it off as gay and low effort, but the presentation with the site that they're viewing+chatting on, the fact the old 4cuck captcha shows up for a moment, the fact the player is named "steamfag" (which is a big hecking nono in the horror community, especially when you're associated with 4troons), and just the general way they're chatting like they're a few bored /v/ anons being casual with each other, it all seems a little too on point. The game itself is bad and low-effort, but it's honestly not too far off from random sp00ky games that originated from 4cuck (see station.exe and lostboy.exe), so I think this is a point more in its favor.
But it doesn't stop there, because the channel it was posted on seems a bit tonedeaf over what they uploaded compared to what they wrote in the description:

It seems unrelated to the video above, other than the weird tagline at the end, "sometimes you just need to know where to look."
And while the date says it was uploaded on October 28th this year, there are a few comments dating back to several months or even a year ago in posting.

All 4 of the comments predating this video's release vary in join date, post date, and what they post on their youtube channels. 100% possible this is either the channel owner's friends commenting on it when it was unlisted, or it was posted on 4cuck sometime back at various points and the channel decided to unlist it now. Very strange video (I recommend fastforwarding since it's a lot of walking and stop only when they speak or anything interesting happens).

i hope this video blows up like the Elliot one. Dire is one of the very few youtubers who does in-depth coverage like this and even with his smaller videos he tends to try and get as much of the key information that other channels even much larger ones than his either skip or gloss over.
 
There's a small detail in Spook's latest video that I really liked. If you listen to the actresses screams towards the end, when her mom's picture shows up, her screams sound full of sadness and pain.

When the killer's pictures show up on screen, the screams sound more visceral and full of anger.

Small things like that go a long way in creating character without being explicit.
 
This video oozes with the flavour of video game creepypastas when they were at the peak of their relevancy in the early-2010's, and honestly, I love it. It's got all the usual over-the-top imagery, edgelord writing and melodrama you'd expect to see from an authentic 'heyday era' hacked game story, and the fact it's got actual visuals to go along with it is really fun too.
 
I like how the series builds the killers up to be some force of nature that commit this disgusting acts that nobody can stop. It makes the moment where the cop puts one of them down way more satisfying. In my personal opinion the scene is so absurd that its darkly comedic.

Spook really deserves props for being able to go and seemingly filter out the actually usable and decent feedback from the absolute screechfest by troons, furfags and genderspecials.
Maybe going this direction was always his plan, maybe not. But the change up of style does coincide with a lot of the usable feedback he got about his series.

And while I normally much prefer creature based horror, I can commend him for not pulling punches when it comes to actually running with just human antagonists, while having it framed in a way where it doesn't feel up its own ass or pretentious which is what a lot of "le ebic fucked up twisted fucking cycle path gay rapist pedo murderer" stories & series fall into.

Says the man who's entire job is stealing views from existing creators to line his own pocket, to create a parasocial group of faggots.

It was such a whinge fest, his argument is partially that exposure is beneficial to VA's / artists / VFX creators. Which is untrue. People need to be paid for the shit they do. And you aren't likely to work on a passion project UNLESS you have some heavy buy in to it like its from your friend or family member. Or you have a lot of sympathy for the organisation or cause like charities. Most people, rightly, wont work for free.

The other major component is that the data scrubbed from sites was "non-consensually" done. I hate T&C's as much as anyone else but the second you sign up to a site thats public facing and upload to it, that is now that companies in most cases. Facebook, instagram, X/twitter, all your posts are belong to them. You no longer own that, they do. And they all gleefully agreed to it.

TLDR: NightMind is a faggot, and has faggot takes like a faggot.
