Poor ol' Geller. I can somewhat understand his Dad booting him out of the nest at 19. If he's not going to go get a degree somewhere after high school then there's no time like the present for something like that. But Dad should have prepared him better. Like making him get a job when he was younger. Or at least before he got the apartment. And Dad should have known that his other issues could possibly eat him alive if he encountered difficulties with the basics. It sure sounds like his depression, eating disorder, etc., have been around for a while. And contrary to popular belief, his gender affirming medical care didn't resolve them.

Gelly is not prepared for real life. No emotional resiliency. No problem solving or critical thinking skills. No sense of responsibility or consequences. Rescheduling his job interview over and over without concern was very interesting to me. (?!) After that panic attack he just went home. There was no mention of making his missed appointment with Amazon right either. So he's probably burned that bridge. Which he will lament later.

If I read it right it was Gelly's idea to move to a completely different city far away from his support structure or anyone who might recognize him specifically because he wanted to hide his status as a be-'ditched eunuch and eventually trick some poor unsuspecting bastard into marrying him, all the while never disclosing he is a man.
His immaturity and unfitness for real life shows that he ever thought that was viable, but he's been lied to constantly about how he's a real woman, and his colon slime assgina is indistinguishable from the real thing.

It's clear though that he is utterly unfit for living alone, especially in a place far from his support structure, so you're right in that I have no clue what the fuck his family was thinking.

If his dad were smarter he wouldn't have trooned out his son he might have sent him off to one of those types of colleges where women shop for husbands who are on their way to earn big money. It's not impossible for him to be a troon and get a husband (see: Brianna Wu), it's just more difficult. Being put in a college situation where he tackles an easy degree until he nets himself a man who is gay but doesn't want to admit it would have been thr better option. It's not the best option, the best would have been to teach son real world skills and not just focus on his troon studies, but again, it would be better than letting him roam free.

I really hope he goes back to his mom or therapy soon. It's not a good time for him and the longer he waits, the worse it will get since he clearly does not have the control needed to do so.

This was a boomer/gen x thing, it doesn't really exist anymore. Barely any zoomers get married in college and certainly not to a troon. Any sort of college would have been a good idea for a more gradual entry into the nasty and cruel world. Granted, he would have gotten more affirmation bullshit, and stalled the inevitable, but he might have gotten some sexual experiences, a friendship or two, and some perspective. Maybe even a mentor.

It really is puzzling that they didn’t go that route. Even a commuter community college situation would have been a better call for him.

thanks, you're very nice. But idk what i like to do anymore. I used to skate almost every day. Now i can't bc of bottom surgery, it's made it too difficult. I like doing my nails but now it doesn't seem fun anymore, I tried doing my nails the other day and i felt nothing when i was done.

idk what i want to do with my life, I had plans and goals but they're all gone now.

I don't have any accomplishments, i did very well in school, that's it. I don't have any friends really, i had some in hs but we weren't very close. all I have is my parents. and they stress me out a lot even tho I love them a lot. my dad worries too much and is kind of controlling tbh. My mom also worries a lot. i don't think talking to them would help me rn.

Apparently he really is 20, as in one video posted 2 years ago, he takes a character quiz and enters his age as 18.

He's also posted some of the worst "let's play" content I've ever seen, where he literally stands in front of a TV playing BioShock for 45 minutes and you can barely see what's going on.

Maybe he could sell his games consoles, rack of video games, or vintage games/toys collection if he's really that desperate for money.....
