What is interesting about shoot interviews like this is that they were such a brief phenomenon. I used to talk with a guy who wrote his dissertation in college on shoot interviews and he explained to me how much a a distinct period this was when the wall of kayfabe went down, the stories flooded in, and then it really suddenly ended. You still get guys dropping a story or two occasionally, but every story of the old days (that isn't going to the grave for legal reasons) has been told.

Man I wish I knew how to get ahold of that guy still.

Also I was looking over the stuff Bix was posting from the sleaze thread and I am sure most of those stories were things I read on some list back in the mid to late 90s. I used to look up wrestling stuff on the computer at the library back in the day and there was a website where I remember seeing some of that stuff.
The sleaze thread is great in a "what the fuck?" kind of way. It's impossible to prove or disprove a lot of them. Some of them are clearly fake and made up by trolls, but some of them are so absurd but realistic that they could be true and then some of the absurd shit ended up being true (like Snuka killing that woman).

Like you said, though, I don't think we will get too many new stories. Dutch Mantell started a podcast a few years ago and has told some new stories but I am not sure how much I believe what he says since some of the stuff he says doesn't add up timeline-wise. A lot of wrestlers also tell a lot of bullshit, so you gotta take what a lot of them say with a huge grain of salt.

Nightmare Factory is not going as well since the arguably most well known trainee that Cody and QT Marshall have produce is Kidd Bandit.
You forgot Jade "Had to relearn everything" Cardgill.

QT left the factory after Cody couldn't land him a gig at the performance center and crawled back to Tony who currently has him booked in a match against the Costco bro guy at the Full Gear ppv pre-show.

Speaking of sleaze thread being true, this one was Chris Colt and 100% true:

Regarding the earlier discussion of Mick and Taker's friendship despite their disparate political leanings.
While speaking during an appearance on CNN last night, Mick Foley talked about the upcoming elections and revealed how he stays friends with The Undertaker despite their political differences. He mentioned that he has only lost a few friends because of politics, emphasizing that shared interests are more important than the things that separate people. Foley has made it clear that politics will not affect his friendship with The Undertaker.
I can count on one hand the number of friends I’ve lost over politics.. the things that draw us together are so much more meaningful than the things that divide us.

In one highlight, Mick Foley was asked to comment on why the Harris campaign appealed to him. He spoke highly of Kamala Harris, and he also made it clear that he wanted to use his platform to possibly make a difference ahead of the election. In another highlight, he shared his views on Donald Trump.
I said that The Undertaker was right, Donald Trump did make politics fun for about three weeks *laughs* in 2016, but there’s nothing fun about his rhetoric, there’s nothing fun about the way he demeans citizens of this country, nothing fun about the way he talks down to women, and in my experience, real men respect strong women, they don’t live in fear of them.

So there it is folks, End of discussion. Bros before hoes and ending friendships over political disagreements is so autistic that a man who sits in a dark closet dressed up like Santa Claus as a hobby thinks it is cringe. End of discussion no more need to bring it up in this thread.

This popped up in my feed. Wrestlers really should do more coke, because The Dungeon of Doom really was the pinnacle of so bad it's good wrestling

https://youtube.com/watch?v=J_NJ6p8jR1A
You know, I have never actually watched all the Dungeon of Doom stuff. I am pretty sure that the DoD stuff was happening parallel to the Outsiders/NWO starting, but for the life of me I can't remember it at all despite the fact I have memories of the NWO kicking off. Like zero memories of actually seeing any of it until I saw people posting it online for the first time.

WWE is launching it's own feeder network using existing talents training schools

And the indie shitters are coming out of the woodwork.

Do these people understand that this entire program seems to be geared towards taking green trainees from indie wrestling schools and bringing them into NXT for seasoning, and not taking 30 something journeymen whose ceiling is bingo halls and giving them a pathway to main roster contracts?
Like I feel bad for Kylie Rae if the Jericho rumors are true, but she was never really a main event talent, and she has become increasingly unstable ever since whatever happened to her in AEW happened?
Edit:
Vertvixen - 34
Kylie Rae - 32
Ricky Shane Page - 40

Dylan Lesynd has no cagematch page and is a Nightmare Factory trainee who has worked in NWA so he might actually have a shot.

I feel super bad for Kylie for whatever Jericho did to her, but she's basically a dollar store Bayley.

Enough politics, this week's RAW is pretty shit, let's see:
  • Bloodline promo, mildly okay, seems like we have to wait until Friday SD until we see more
  • Out of nowhere Sheamus vs Kaiser rematch that was nowhere near as good the one they did in August, also burying Kaiser in the process, srsly this one feels like a house show match that happened to be aired on TV, what was Trips on when booking?
  • Actually solid triple threat tag team match, a lot of good stuff happened in 10 minutes, more slow burn build up of New Day fracturing, the fat viking dudes seemingly getting a push (side note: props to 50 year old Rey Mysterio working in the midcard making solid matches with the younger guys to put them over)
  • Gunther's pointless promo that functionally repeated what he said during the last SD in abridged form, i dont get it, was that for the people dont watch that?
  • Miz' bizarre, yet entertaining heel-turn backfire, its a pretty unique spin on the classic trope, i like what they're doing here
  • Another utterly mediocre Rhea promo, she's always been not that good on the mic, but the script they're giving her is utter nothing garbage
  • Sami suddenly turning heel out of nowhere, has no build up whatsoever, it literally just happens in a 20 second segment, great storytelling bro
  • Another Seth-Bronson backstage brawl, seth loses this one, not what angle they're pushing here, are they teasing the possibility that he might not make it to his Crown Jewel match?
  • Damian being dragged back to JD drama, AGAIN, at least he snaps and beats the living piss out of Dom for this one

Did he hate Chris Benoit because he was no longer his ex-wife's favorite wrestler?
From what I heard, Kevin and Nancy's marriage was over before that point anyway so while he wasn't a fan of them being together (as anyone in that situation wouldn't be) he wasn't like super seething mad about it either.

I kind of expected Sami turning since Kevin turned on Cody and Orton, and everyone knows they're each other's road wives.
