I, for one, am shocked, SHOCKED I tell you, that no one has ponied up the $500 cash to bail Dalton out.
Good catch! I had been looking at Docket Entries instead of Case Events.
The update:
With a little translation help (no promises re: accuracy):
"CONFLICTS IS APPOINTED": A conflict attorney has been appointed to represent the defendant, possibly due to a conflict of interest with their previous representation.
"WAIVES R&S": The defendant has waived their right to a preliminary hearing or a review of their charges.
"ENTERS PLEA OF NG": The defendant has entered a plea of "not guilty" (NG) to the charges against them.
"STATE MOVES TO NP PETITION": The state (prosecution) has requested to non-prosecute (NP) a petition, which typically means they want to drop or dismiss certain charges or requests against the defendant.
"IS RETURNED TO ORIGINAL TERMS OF PROBATION": The defendant is being reinstated to their original probation terms, implying they had been on probation prior to this hearing.
"GRANTED": The court has approved the state’s request to non-prosecute the petition.
In summary, the court has appointed a conflict attorney, the defendant has pleaded not guilty, and the prosecution's request to dismiss certain actions has been granted, allowing the defendant to return to their original probation terms.
So, I guess we wait and see when this POS is released on her highly esteemed probation once again.
