A mic breaking for 20 mins and stopping a show just doesn't happen. Ever. There's never NOT another mic that could be plugged in and brought online within 30 seconds, even if it's a shitty one used as talk-back.

Something else happened but they're saying it was just the mic. Maybe a console fried. Maybe the power wasn't sufficient at the location. Maybe they were waiting for Trump's check to clear.

If I had to guess, their console fried and they had to haul ass to the truck and get the backup, haul it in, un-crate it swap and repin everything. That's about a 20 min operation. Modern consoles are just computers and prone to breaking, unlike the analogue tanks of yore.

What I find amusing is that, from my experience, major events like a fucking presidential rally that's televised and highly visible have redundancies already online for everything. For this exact reason. Because how fucking embarrassing and dumb do you look as a presidential candidate who can't even line up a working PA system?

I'm sure someone thought they were saving money by hiring Great Value PA co, or no one reputable with good gear would work for him. There's probably no shortage of idiots who think it was a radical leftist ANTIFA operative that sabotaged it.

He's going to try to work the cash register, because being in the back doesn't give him narc supply.

But working the register is definitely hard at first, customers love to ask "what comes on the X" and unless you've worked there a while you don't know. The POS layout at my store (not a McDonald's) was very confusing. Multiple pages of buttons, everything is abbreviated and if you're new you don't know the abbreviations yet

The first few days on a register involves running back and forth asking "what's on this?" "how do I ring up that?""they want extra ingredient that usually only comes on different item, where is that?" because these places are too cheap to schedule someone to stand next to the register with you all day.

He'd get frustrated very quickly because he'd try to talk to customers, and trust me, not only do they not want to talk, they have no sense of humor or patience with newbies.

All he'll be able to do is get in the employees way, because there's not a lot of space back there - especially if his SS has to be back there too. None of the employees will vote for him after that, maybe the retarded manager. They're awful and suck anyway.
