I don't think he's getting any prison time. I have zero expectations of that. I want to be clear on that point.

Here's the thing though: If he keeps this shit up, maybe he should get a little? Even if it's just like a few months in the county jail, and the rest suspended.

He's guilty as fuck, and yet he still blames absolutely everybody else for his problems. If I were the prosecutor, I would rapidly be losing my patience with his bullshit at this point.

Call it a deterrent to the rest of society. "We'll work with you, but don't be this fucking asshole."

Taking a plea deal would mean admitting guilt. I still don't know if he has it in him.

You're right though that with the warrant being valid, and the evidence not being suppressed, he's beyond fucked. But you are thinking about this like a rational person. Nick stopped being rational a long time ago.

I think he'll take a plea. Regardless of how stubborn he is it'd be insane not to. Plus it's a common cope about pleas with how they 'would've been exonerated in court but had to plea because x' so get ready for that cope.

Part of me thinks this faggot still thinks he can somehow pull off an Alford plea (if I'm recalling the name of it correctly) so he can plead out without having to admit guilt... But that ship's sailed a LOOOOOOONG time ago, hit an iceberg & sank...

He's likely unable to appeal this ruling unless he goes to trial and loses. In general, Rekieta would be forced to sign away the ability to appeal it as part of any plea deal.

If he goes to trial, likely the bulk of it comes in.
