Everyone of you is focusing on the Yamato sperging, which is funny but overdone, yet you are ignoring the biggest thing that was revealed in the vivre cards: That Queen is Franky 's father. That came out of nowhere! It makes sense though. Both like to dance, sing and pose, both are into cybernetics and Queen liked Komurasaki, propably because of her hair color which might match his wife's and was inherited by Franky. The pieces come together!

How do you know Mihawk is the best in the word? Zoro gets Conq Haki wnd says it is not enough to beat Mihawk. Shanks has Conq Haki and fought evenly with Mihawk.

And Mihawk does not even have Conq Haki. Lol.

I still think that kind of thing should be a bit more important than a card not everyone is going to see or know.

I hope the final premium collection of One Piece or something comes with a book of all the info that is technically canon but not in the main work. Just so it becomes a respurce everyone has access to when rereading and thereby part of the work as a whole

That’s my issue. I think literally 90% of Mihawk’s panel time has just been him coasting on reputation alone, and I don’t think he’s ever been in a fight since Marineford. And whenever he DOES fight, he always seems to find a reason to not go all out, usually amounting to “he has no reason to go all out because his opponent is out of his league.” At this point, there has to be something MASSIVE for Mihawk to have his title, assuming it’s not like Afro Samurai where he just beat the previous greatest swordsman in the world to earn his title.

At least Shanks got a sweet attack to show why he’s a force to be reckoned with.

Honestly, a part of me at this point likes the fact that every strong character just goes ‘Mihawk is too strong you’ll die’ and that’s clearly true to the point seemingly practically no one is stupid enough to try. And anyone that would like Vista or whatever then had other stuff to do.

So yeah Mihawk and the other top brass want to fight but schedules keep conflicting.

I find that pretty funny.

Mihawk does not like fighting for the Marines. He was known as the "Marine Hunter" propably because he hates them. He only joined the Warlords just so that small fries that only recently finished basic would stop coming after him and distracting him from his naps. If people like Sengoku or Garp were the only ones who bothered him, he would be happy as they are strong (even if they are not swordsmen). He does not like fighting Shanks anymore because duels with a cripple are hardly fair (even against someone who could win against him like Shanks dispite the disability). He likes fighting people at their peak which Shanks is, by default, incapable of reaching anymore. Same goes for Whitebeard. I also believe he wants to fight people who can carry the title to the next generation as opposed to peopl of his generation or the previous one.

Dude, Mihawk not having Conqueror's makes him hunting down Don Krieg from the Grand Line all the more bad-ass because he could just strike down Sea Kings or use Observation to dodge them. He practically had to have earned his Warlord status through sheer skill alone, and that's just awesome.

Real kick. We know Shanks kills observation. A skill he undoubtedly has to fight Mihawk. So Mihawk was even against a dude that just got compared to a literal God a few chapters ago with just a sword. At the worst.

Even with that, it’s really frustrating that there’s practically nothing to suggest that Mihawk and Zoro’s final fight, which is one of the big things the manga is destined to head towards, shows no real signs of making progress to become reality. At least Luffy vs Shanks has a real pathway with Shanks also going for the one piece like Luffy, and Luffy going to Elbaf, which is Shanks’ turf.

I just want Mihawk to for once show off his skills instead of just using his name and status to get out of actually trying. Is that too much to ask?
