I thought TLoU was the most overrated game in 200 years.

Doesn't surprise me to see they're doing a sequel though.

ditto. I liked it well enough, but it was not that good. Didn't get the feels from it as others got (heard that a lot of people "cried" when the opening segment was done, and I never got that) or how "groundbreaking" it was.
 
The only thing that The Last of Us really had going for it was the ad libbed dialogue.

Which was pretty much any of the "flavour" dialogue in the game.

Still kind of glad they're making another movie game though.
 
I've been really dying for another third person shooter that involves half-assed cover systems, mediocre pallet puzzles and played out zombie tropes, so this is perfect news.

I'd imagine it'll be what everyone's been predicting: people related to one of the groups Joel and Ellie took on in the first game come and kill everyone in the settlement(possibly including Joel) and Ellie goes revenge questing after them, either with Joel or with a hallucination-Joel. If they go the hallucination route, that would at least give a reason for the game AI never noticing your AI buddy when you're sneaking.

Never played the game myself, but I watched a couple Lets Plays and enjoyed the story. I'll be interested to see what they do with it.
