How would that even work? This is reminding me of "ancoms" on Twitter saying that the Soviet Union and Communist China don't count as "real communism", and that if people just gave communism one more chance, it'll magically succeed.

Attempts at democracy result in oligarchies for a reason: people are people. That won't change no matter how much questionably-sane utopian ideologues may try to change that.
