I'm putting more of my tinfoil hat on, but here's my thinking. Mr Beast is attempting to avoid accountability and to try to keep his original "Good Guy" act going. If he takes the L on the Illegal Gambling, Fake Signature, hiring Delware, keeping Ava on, and everything else. Everything will be scrutinize in the future on what he does and the Philanthropy protection he created weakens/fails. If he tries his mudsling and attempt to destroy all of their accusers, he could maybe get everyone back on his side and the Good Guy keeps on going. Least that would be as to why he thinks this might be the move.
