Somehow disappointing reveal, except for Tlaloc.
People going "WTF how come BB gets another variant?!" forget that BB getting another variant was heavily foreshadowed in Van Gogh's event 4 years ago when BB was interrogating Yang Guifei and telling her if she explains herself and how she managed to pull off all the shit she did in that particular event so BB is able to use this knowledge for her benefits, she will grant her clemency.
I am surprised actually that Tlaloc got a swimsuit variant that quickly, it usually takes newcomer servant at least 2 years to get a swimsuit. But I do agree, the summer picks these years at least for me were pretty disappointing because I'm not too crazy for any of the characters picked to get the swimsuit variants. The characters I wish to get a swimsuit variant or any sort of variant aren't exactly popular with the fanbase, so that's why I'm super grateful for the Summer Eresh however I am super happy to see Percival getting a summer costume, since I have him grailed on JP.
I really would like Vritra and Scheherazade to get swimsuit or some variant but I know they aren't exactly the most popular servants out there, so any chances of them getting it are very, very low. But out of all the reveals and this chapter being super focused on Moon Cancer and Fate/Extra stuff, my only hope is that finally we get to see Archimedes because my friend has saved up over 2000+ SQ waiting for him. I would also love to see Altera Larva but I know the chances of that happening are super slim.
I do think the welfare servant we're gonna get once this whole chapter and Ordeal Call part 3 wraps up will be either Hakuno or Passionlip. I imagine if it's Hakuno, players will get to choose whether they want the male or female version of them, similar to how we got pick which Valkyrie do we want as our welfare servant.
What are your thoughts about the recent buffs for other Servants?
As a proud owner of level 100 Asclepius on JP, I am more than happy that he got a buff because his overheal now is super bonkers and I think people shitting on it because "What about Geronimo" are really unrealistic, because G-man needs a whole overhaul of his kit and I don't really see it happening in the future, unless they give him a new variant which has very slim chances of happening.
I am overall satisfied because lots of servants that I love using but sadly feel they underperform compared to more recent released units got a buff such as Abby, Cleo and Iskandar.
Is there a good way of experiencing the story of GO? I was originally optimistic after Babylonia anime but found the Camelot films to be really bad, and the Solomon film was cool for fanservice but not for actual events. If there is some hacked version without the gacha it would be perfect
