Wu's been studying programming since the age of 13 and still struggles with basic syntax and solving problems in games meant to make programming approachable for children.

Most 13-year olds wouldn't possess the mathematical sophistication to take proper CS classes, by the way.

Not many people who aren't already coding by 13 are going to be genius programmer material.

John wasn't one of them either. And will never be even a mediocre programmer, and even that would require a ton of work, which John will never put in.

Well, that's easy to fix! All you have to do is edit the page yourself and provide a citation from a credible source* to prove that you actually are a software engineer, then no one can dispute it! :^)
*unfortunately, Wikipedia seems to consider clickbait rags as a credible source when it comes to these sorts of things
