I believe such an affidavit was necessary due to her not having counsel to whom the state's disclosures can be addressed; don't quote me on this though. As is documented in the motion, Nick Rekieta has a long history of advocating transparency in the judicial process through livestreaming to the public. I don't see any reason why he would oppose this. That would be rank hypocrisy.
