Plagiarizing Matt Forney from one of my group chats: "If you're a millennial man, you recognize Walz. He's the slightly fruity elementary teacher your parents warned you about. He's the Scoutmaster who tried to get you alone in the woods on a camping trip. He's the priest who kept placing his hand on your thigh when you were serving as an altar boy. He's every authority figure you instinctively knew was trying to harm you. The fact that he doesn't trigger "the ick" yet Vance somehow does is proof that "the ick" is bullshit."

My personal feeling for the choice of Waltz is that the DNC knows it's got Pennsylvania locked down with fortifications so they can look towards capturing more swing states.

Otherwise they would have picked da joo just to nail down Pennsylvania because Kuntala can't win without it. So yah Pennsylvania must already be in the bag. No doubt the joo will be rewarded with a nice cabinet position for his aid in stealing the election again.

Lord knows the joos don't do anything for free so he will get his 30 silver one way or the other.
It's either this scenario ... Or this is the Dems conceding the Presidential Election. Aside from your usual shills on Twitter/X and reddit, this choice doesn't seem to spark much enthusiasm whatsoever ... And a lot of people are actually calling out the potential antisemitism by picking Walz over Shapiro.

The choice looked like it was begrudgingly going to be Shapiro (based on the rumors of the rift within the party on who everyone wanted) ... Until his scandals came to light yesterday. The choice to go with Walz seems to be very last minute to me.

And they picked an old guy who appears to not have any political aspirations beyond where he is right now ... Most likely because a lot of future Presidential hopefuls don't want to ruin their careers with this election.

A lot of people are reacting to this pick as either the Dems being confident about the fix being on, or it's the Dems focusing on the down ballots to win the House while forfeiting the Presidential Election.

Also, you could say that this pick is to secure Minnesota for them. It would be politically damaging for the Democrats for a LONG time if they somehow lost Minnesota for the first time in decades. Personally, I'm never going to hold my breath for Minnesota to flip red, but there's been a lot of polls in recent months saying that Trump has a good chance in winning it, so ... 🤷‍♀️

No, they are clearly intentionally giving up the presidency now.
The rigging will be for the senate and house, they wont rig anything for the presidency.

When the orange man gets his landslide the dems will use it as an excuse to say woke ideology is unelectable.

Who cares. They are imprisoning the white people as we speak in UK.

I won't post the link just to not spread it, but a newspaper (and its website) is spreading the faces of people who got arrested recently during the "riots" (can barely call them that) and while many are scum I don't support as they were stealing or causing vandalism to things other than police stations one of them was just a guy who told police to go fuck themselves so they arrested him. This newspaper is calling him a "far-right thug" of course and lumping him in with actual criminals.

i encourage you to actually read my post. yes, nobody cares about a vp pick... unless they're exceptional. tim walz is not exceptional until you plop down his BLM record in front of everyones' faces and show what harm he did to his own state when combined with kamala's own stated beliefs and behaviors.
Anyone inclined to vote Democrat will see this as a positive, not a negative.

It's a solid place to post. It drives me mad because I was just in another thread where he was extremely financially literate and level headed, and over here it's lunacy. The blinders come on quick.
The only thing I will say about HHH is that this is why you shouldn't disown/end contact with people over politics. We all get some degree of retarded about politics (which is a matter of opinion for each of us) but that doesn't make us retarded about everything.

There was someone posting ITT on Friday/Saturday saying that they got the inside scoop Walz was the guy. I'd try to find it, but it went largely unremarked upon and was 60 pages ago.

they were always going to vote for harris regardless who she picked, even if she named Hebrew Shekelstein as her VP. When the alternative is Literally Hitler Drumpf, it doesn't matter. this pick was for swing voters, and she smashed a foul ball right to the stands for everyone to see.

the Chinese are problem but no worse than Trump's chosen people they are hostile foreigners who need to be rooted out
I want all the foreigners out but if we had to install anyone as proxy dictators, all I have to say is most of them would not tolerate you to live.

China is absolutely influencing US culture. Why on earth do you think Hollywood has such close ties to China? Where do you think all the DEI crap in our movies and TV shows came from? Why do you think China panders two different versions of TikTok to themselves and the US? We have colleges that have CHINA SATELLITE CAMPUSES. We have Chinese spy offices in every single major city in the US. Fuck out of here. China has been manipulating our culture for literal decades to push this DEI algorithm bullshit to make everything weaker.

Why would a guy who banned Winnie the Pooh over a fucking joke have such a close relationship with Pedowood? China is the driving force behind all of this woke nonsense and they always have been. Stupid people just fall for it.

Exactly. They just took over from the USSR. What Yuri Besmenov revealed the USSR was doing in the 80s (and earlier) the CCP is doing now.

it's almost as if the dems want to purge all the stupid things that make them unelectable in one hit
i cant see americans putting california and minnesota marxists in the whitehouse

I can't find the post but I believe it was Diana Moon Glampers who said that Shapiro was supposed to be the really bad pick to distract everyone so when they picked Tim on Monday, no one would complain because they were happy Shapiro was gone.

Ah, found it.

Thanks.

I try to keep up with this thread as much as I can, but it's almost impossible if I value my bits of free time as well as my hours of sleep. lol.

You were indeed referring to @Diana Moon Glampers

Hey Kiwibros?

Right after Biden announced his stepdown from the race, when it was just becoming apparent that Kamala was going to be coronated...

A friend, a close friend, with very close connections in Minnesota DFL politics told me something strange.

He told me that Tim Walz, Minnesota governor, was the actual VP pick for Kamala Harris. Furthermore, he told me that anything I might see to the contrary about anyone else being a frontrunner was basically a dog-and-pony show in order to make it so that people were relieved and happy with the Walz choice instead of Monday morning quarterbacking the decision.

He's a close friend, someone I'd trust with my life, and he said he was dead serious. I still wasn't quite sure whether to believe it, not because I didn't think he'd really heard it, but because who knew if his political friends were being truthful with him? For that matter, who knows if Kamala had even been honest with the pick, or maybe just told everyone "you're my very special little boy."

Well, anyway, I think he was probably right all along.
