It's hard to fathom what kind of state you need to be in to be denied travel, or the stupid decisions that could lead to missing your flight. Yet Ralph is constantly struggling with the simple task of navigating an airport - it really is understated how socially inept he is when dealing with people he can't bully or guilt trip.

It seems like a side effect of anxiety about traveling. Not that he’s necessarily afraid of flying, but he’s uncomfortable enough to need to get paralytic just to get on the plane. That’s not the behavior of a confident, secure man.

I thank god he documents all his tardrages and stupid pilled up catastrophies so there's a mountain of evidence for this man to never (not like he'd have a inkling of a chance anyway, but still) get split custody, every time he fucks up and it involves his kids even a miniscule amount I just think of what if this man was left alone with one of them at toddler age, and you know he would absolutely not keep an eye on them, I don't want to imagine the pill induced rage he would take out on them if they broke something or caused a mess or whatever unattended.

This mishap was a blessing in disguise. The less he's around these kids with the demeanor and addictions he has the better. I wish I could just give him a inkling of optimism that he'd clean himself up and make self improvements to prove he loves his kids, but after how he treated his mom needing dialysis the best thing for Ralph is for him to just slowly die alone in his cheap deteriorating mexican shithole far away from anyone who could be impacted by his retardation.

please let him be put on a no fly list and stuck in mexico until he withers away. please don't give him the chance to cause harm to those children. I don't want to see a happening on the front page of Ethan Ralph being arrested / imprisoned for causing shaken baby syndrome to one of those babies or some other horrific shit. Though Xander is like what, 2 or 3 now?

Hey may have been in Mexico City in his earlier post. I believe he transferred there on his way up to Sandy Eggo. If so, that would put the travel time to Merida or Cancun around 2 hours.

Legal issues definitely seem to be the theme for this year. Rekieta keeps managing to push further ahead of BMJ with each new matter of public opinion and there’s still court and the trial. I feel like BMJ is in dangerous territory and vulnerable if he stagnates in content with a few months left to go and keeps getting bans from various platforms. Ralph’s best shot at stealing spots is this airport stuff getting him charged or ends up on a no fly list and the divorce arc churns out more behind that scenes footage of him and Meigh as a December surprise.

I wonder if he was actually late or if he was just so drunk they refused to let him on the plane. They're not going to keep you off the plane if you've just had a couple drinks, but if you reek of booze, are staggering, slurring your speech, etc. they will, I assume, even in Mexico. Belligerent drunks can be a real problem in an airplane.

nah LOTY is a combination of recency and unexpectedness. Rekieta, though amazing, is actually a really fucking common story - lawyer/famous dude cokes out and explodes. It doesn't really have terribly many twists and turns, and has kind of died down (but could come roaring back at anytime).

Any lolcow has a chance if they surge unexpectedly to semi-national fame, and at the right time.

Basically, the voters saying "can you imagine? who would have thought he would have done that?" type of thing

So yeah, Rekieta has it wrapped up unless everything goes boring and quiet for him the last half of the year.

I travel a lot internationally for both personal and work purposes, and I have never, ever, missed a flight - and I am not averse to a few pre-flight beers - or any preplanned transport for that matter.

I think it was pretty much what happened on the trip to Italy. EOR’S default setting is usually “Nasty AF asshole”. He’d had a few before the trip started, a few more on the first leg, then more on his layover. Wether he missed the flight or not I’m sure he was a-hollarin’ and that alone will get you tossed.i don’t know how he got from Mexico City to TJ, but I’d guess a bus, which is how he likely got back from TJ to Merida.

I did a quick search and couldn't find a match on light fixtures at either TJ or CDMX. (Not comprehensive though, so I may have missed something.) We thinking he's still in the airport, trying like hell to get a flight he can't afford, or is he down to a bus terminal?

That's not everywhere in Tijuana airport, I can say that for absolutely sure.

It’s expensive to cross border flight and Tijuana is literally connected to southern San Diego you just taxi to the border and walk across and get a lyft ride to wherever in Sandy eggo you want.

Yes. He went from Merida/Cancun to Mexico City to Tijuana to San Diego. He threw a tantrum after missing his first flight from CDMX to Tijuana and then not being allowed to board the second flight.

I think he was scouting out Tijuana with an eye to moving there now that Faith has moved to San Diego.

The generic tiles and basic LED light fixtures do match some in Aeropuerto Internacional de la Ciudad de México (in Mexico City), but I wasn't able to find that exact pattern shift nor light fixture online. I miss Panoramio sometimes... Anyway, if that was a live/recent pic of Ralph, and he was in Merida in a few hours, that would be consistent with a pic from CDMX.

I wouldn’t think Mexico City - Sandy Eggo would be that much more than MC - TJ. Still gotta go through Customs but I’d think doing that at an airport would be better than the border.
