HHH, you grew up in a time where Russia was the enemy of the planet. However, the Soviet's fell and millennials and Zoomers never grew up giving a rats anus about Russia. To most people under the age of 30, Russia is a fucking joke. It's a Boomer meme. They don't fear Russia or even view them as a threat. Many also hate the West and don't give a shit if Putin took over all of Europe because Europe has become pozzed and gay.

Time and bad decisions by world governments has made the overall population have a "meh" attitude towards Russia.

I was born well after the fall of the Soviet Union. It makes no sense to screech about Russia when the same government that wants us to hate it 1) lets foreigners infiltrate and influence our system, 2) supports foreign countries by letting them have our resources OFTEN TO THE TUNE OF BILLIONS OF DOLLARS, and 3) wants us to get involved in other countries’ affairs, often at the expense of our own, while ignoring the issues of others, even when they affect us directly.

Russia to me is sad. It’s as big a victim of communism as any other USSR country. I don’t even support what Putin does- I just think people who screech about it are trying to manipulate us, using Russia to deflect what they’re doing. Today’s Russia is a scapegoat.
