I'm sure Nick wants to believe it would be that way but the reality is that his obnoxious personality would get in the way of him being seen as useful, let alone being liked or respected.
 
I am so looking forward to the moment in court where Rekieta realizes that no one is buying his bullshit and he has to scramble with his lawyer to try and secure a plea. It hopefully will not be a good one either considering how many ways he has tried to attack the state's legitimacy, plenty of prosecutors really don't like that. He seems to have forgotten that pleas are essentially offered to the defendant. If he makes it impossible for them to offer him an alford plea or something like that, he's fucked.

Yeah, it's way more likely that they turn on each other before either one turns on him. I just don't think it'll take a lot for that switch to flip. If Nick really has a plan to throw one of them to the wolves to save himself he's gonna have to make that choice soon.
