Demon's Souls. Play it the way it's supposed to be played instead of the westernized, soulless, generic looking mess the PS5 remake became.

Demon Souls PS5 is the definition of dangling shiny keys in front of retards. It’s all style and just tore away all of the substance and charm from the actual game. Can you believe there are Sony niggers who demand Bluepoint remake or make their own Bloodborne!
 
Anarchy Reigns is a gem, check it out if you get a chance. Might want to check out Folklore, it's a PS3 exclusive and is pretty good.

Some other games worth looking at are MotorStorm: Apocalypse, Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch, Darksiders 1 & 2, Dead Rising: Off the Record, Enemy Territory: Quake Wars, and Just Cause 2. Others in the thread have mentioned Armored Core, and those are great games to try if you haven't already played them.
 
The Valkyria Chronicles games are pretty fun. Mix of Tactical and JRPG gameplay. Heavenly sword is also a pretty fun hack and slash game.

L.A. Noire is also a game you should try if you haven't yet.

I was going to say get ahold of the legacy collection off Amazon but at some point the price shot up fron $20 to fucking $120 so you might want to either ebay it and hope the MGS1 code works or softmod via HEN and just pirate it all (only get V if you want CBT, that game was NOT made with the PS3 in mind and the framerate/lag shows it).

Extreme Stage is so good its one of my favorite racing games, the intro is great until the singing too.
The Darkness, Armored Core 4A, Katamari Forever and Armored Core 4 (don't think you can get the later regulations(patches) though) were some of my favorites. 3D Dot Game Heroes was really good from what I remember, El Shaddai was neat, Spider-Man Web of Shadows was decent as well and a guilty pleasure/fun but slop were the Fist of the North Star Ken's Rage games if you like HnK or Musou games. The first Ken's Rage also had a really good intro too.

i liked extreme stage but i enjoyed special stage a lot more. good to know someone else besides me likes the car anime with cool music.

Also (I'm pretty sure) it's made by the same dude who made the Persona games. It has similar dna.
 
You'd best try some of the more renowned PS3 titles that haven't received convenient modern releases yet.

Motorstorm, the Uncharted series, MGS4 and Infamous are all great.

Edit: Also Warhawk is a fun online game that still has some playerbase, it seems to need some finagling on the network end of things to do it now though, official servers are long dead.
