Sorry for the double post in advance.

I thought UFC 304 sucked. One of the most boring events top-to-bottom. I’ll give credit to Allen v Chikadze and Duncan v Rodriguez. Both of those fights had fun moments but weren’t enough to carry the card. The two absolute squash matches that followed were embarrassing. Both Green and Blaydes got humiliated. Belal v Leon was only a hairsbreadth more exciting than Rose vs Carla with Leon getting dunked on his head in the first, then elbowing the shit out of Belal during the last 40 or so seconds of the fight.

Special shout out of Wood v Pineda on the prelims. That was an entertaining affair and probably my favorite fight of the entire evening.

On a side note, Super RIZIN 3 was supremely entertaining. The only downside of the show was one of the BKFC crossovers. They brought in two plastic-infused females to fight in one of the bouts which was just embarrassing but graciously short. However, there was an awesome bare knuckle bout between John Dodson and some Japanese guy that caught me by total surprise. Really fucking good. Highly recommend the entire event.

All I see literally everywhere is talk about the Aspinall v Blaydes fight being an early stoppage, it baffles me that people unironically believe this. He literally had a 255 pounds freak lying on him and hammering his head mercilessly while being virtually completely limp.

Are MMA fans really this retarded or do they get some sick fetish out of wanting to see fighters even more CTE ridden, perhaps even wheelchair-bound and paralyzed?

It was a quick stoppage, but literally only because Aspinall landed ten blows in about half the time it would have taken any other heavyweight.

For those who haven’t watched any King of the Streets, I’ll share a recent clip that’s short and sweet. I love this stuff. As @bile demon mentioned above, all of this stuff is basically organized hooligan fights except the rules are pretty ambiguous. You quit or the ref eventually steps in right before you lose consciousness. This fight is less than six minutes long and the outcome is as surprising and it is visceral.

It’s definitely not for everyone but there is a certain rawness to it which appeals to me. The clip I’ll share is very tame in comparison to what else is on offer. There’s some very egregious soccer kicks to a downed opponent on concrete, heavy eye gauging*, and even ears being ripped off.

* if you decide to watch this fight, I recommend looking into the fighter himself. He’s fascinating. His fights aren’t always as entertaining as this one though. There’s tons of drama.
Yeah this shit is pretty kino. Some of the fights have had an interesting element of "honor" or the lack of it, and how its during and after the fight. Im surprised noone is wearing gloves though, a lot of these guys compete in sanctioned fights outside of this, why risk the injury? Id love to know how much these guys get paid.

I hate Marc Goddard. I strongly feel as if he is the worst referee in combat sports. In my opinion, he stops championship bouts way too early most of the time and isn’t attentive enough on things like fence grabs and eye gouging (there was a lot of face raking throughout that entire event where fingers were definitely grazing eyes).

That being said, that wasn’t a bad stoppage at all. Blaydes got toppled and was being wailed on. He wasn’t answering back. Given his position and lack of reasonable action besides covering up, the right call was made here.

The honor aspect is the most intriguing bit to me. There are lots of contests rooted in nationalism and almost turn into huge brawls. Gotta download the full events somewhere to get the full experience. The YouTube highlights are good, but man…

I doubt they get paid much at all. It’s probably more fun for them than anything. A lot of these dudes do appear in BKB, which is a UK bare knuckle promotion, and RIZIN. I don’t think either one of these organizations have strict rules on their contracts and are probably for single fights at a time. I’ve also seen some dudes who have participated in KotS show up in Oktagon MMA (Czech) and KSW (Polish).

A lot a MMA fans want guys to be out cold before the ref steps in.

Blaydes was belly down eating shots to the face doing a fucking awful job of defending himself. He was going to get knocked out by one eventually and the ref saw this and stopped it from happening for the fighters safety.

Trying to explain this to the "JUST BLEED!" crowd is a waste of time because they don't realise that they are certain positions/situations in MMA that guys can't get out of.

Yeah in one of the fights I saw, a guy got mount and some other advantageous positions, but he kept it pretty clean. At some point he gets reversed and as soon as he is mounted his opponent eye gouges TF out of him lol.

The production value is pretty nice.. there seems to be a lot of people there, though no tickets being sold of course. Id looove to find out the inner workings of these events.

7 of 9 fights ended in unanimous decision, that about sums it up for me.

Don't forget about the Ben Kingsley looking motherfucker who made a guy tap with a broken arm.

Huh? What decision?
The decision of Belal Muhammad to bully Leon Edwards for four rounds.

The decision of Leon Edwards' corner to not tell him to adjust to that high double Leg takedown or how to get out of that figure for body lock.

The decision of Leon to show Belal's takedowns absolutely no respect, even after Muhammad put him on the mat twice in the first round.

Remember my decision to bet the line back when it was -380.

Leon Edwards had absolutely no control over that fight and his corner had no control over him. The only reason he got that third round was because Muhammad made a mistake on the ground and let Leon get his back.

Yes.

Some MMA casuals are either too ashamed to be pro wrestling fans (the want meme knockouts and spectacle), or unironic fans of power slap and bumfights (want to watch two guys beat on each other and technique is purely optional). Anyone who thinks the Aspinall v. Blaydes ended early needs to fuck off and watch the two aforementioned 'sports'. Blaydes was taking multiple unanswered punches to the face from back mount and not protecting himself.

Bobby Green's decision to shoot on Paddy Pimblett was the textbook definition of panic wrestling and dumb as hell against a guy who is as efficient on the ground as Paddy the Zoomer Retard.

I maintain that Giggedy Giga got robbed via scorecards.

Mokaev's comments at the press conference suggest that UFC might make the flyweight divisions go away in the near future.

Leon looked really, really bad in that fight. He didn’t even want to be there. I would say getting dumped on his head discouraged him, but he had no sense of urgency anywhere in that first round.

He had me convinced after the second Usman fight. That’s been well over an ago now, was Usman injured coming into that fight? I think I recall Usman complaining about his knee in the bout with Khamzat.

The decision of Leon to show Belal's takedowns absolutely no respect, even after Muhammad put him on the mat twice in the first round.
No idea why the guy would just slump over against the cage. No handfighting, no effort (or, again, urgency) to try to get a more advantageous position. Content with being waterboarded. Infuriating to watch.

Now sure I feel about this if true. Figgy v Moreno were some instant classics.

Also, congrats on your win!

Is this uploaded anywhere? The site I normally use only has the UFC fights.

wonder if dana is gonna give convington another shot at the belt now. I am waiting to see a belal / colby fight with trump in the audience for 307 or 308 to hype up the election

I hope not, after his absolutely shameful performance vs. Edwards. Usman would be a more interesting fight, IMO.

Quick, someone feed him a Gracie. It's the fastest way to increase his power level.

The corpse of Tony is about to be wheeled out for one last ritual humiliation.

A woman has accused UFC fighter Alex Pereira of rape, alleging that the incident occurred during the UFC 302 fight weekend two months ago. The allegations have sparked a variety of reactions on social media, with some expressing disbelief and others calling for legal action. The UFC and Pereira's team have not yet publicly responded to the allegations, and further details are expected to emerge as the situation develops.

It's especially weird seeing as the guy claims to be completely straight edge (which makes sense seeing as he used to be an alcoholic), usually not a lot of these 'rapes' happen without drinks or more commonly drugs being involved.

Also zero evidence. Guy seems to be genuinely good at managing his shit, on the highest point of his career, hustling extremely hard with all the fights he takes on alongside the 24/7 social media collabs, I'm sure he'd throw it all away just to dick down some random nobody tiktok roastie stone cold sober.

I'm a retard so I can't archive shit but here's the tiktok video:

"The only thing he said was 'Chama' " my fucking sides. Literally just a mentally ill whore's rape fanfic.

Edit:
https://www.tiktok.com/@mere_g_brown/video/7399675090964598046 also fucking hilarious.

"The only time he spoke english this entire time I was with him was to ask me to help him put it in."

Motherfucker does not speak a single english word, I'm sure he went "Uh, I'm not trying to stick it into your ass, am I? I know it's not that hard right now but hold on. Actually, can you help me out a bit, it's a bit dark in here. Chama." while trying to furiously rape someone.

Check the reels of her instagram account. Has her flashing her tits at the 299 event with O'Malley and Chito, but sure, she has no interest in MMA and had never heard of Pereira before that night. Also the idea of Pereira being really into anal fisting is very funny. Stone hand indeed.

Apparently Conor was absolutely fucking malding on Twitter last night (which he then promptly deleted because he's a pussy) because during an interview Adin Ross asked Trump who his favourite fighter was and he said Khabib:

Also Disney is putting up the price of ESPN+ yet again (another ~10%/$1 per month) for the few retards who still pay for this shit.
