Hopefully he at least said thank you to the donor. He could have said something like 'thank you for the donations so far, even small amounts help' etc. The $10 minimum only made some sense previously because he was offering drawings in return.
 
$10 minimum, because the cheapest Skylanders are about $8-10.

I'm surprised he didn't add a $.99 at the end to make it more obvious.

I can't believe anyone gives this asshole money or buys him toys. Donate money to kids with cancer or buy a toy for a kid in the hospital. Do something for someone who would appreciate it. Chris is so entitled. You can't feel bad for him.

It's worse/more complicated than that for the slylanders. You pretty much buy bags of parts for $10 but the other figures you can buy for the new game (which is like $70 itself, more than other games) are $13. The bags are mystery parts so it's safe to say he bought a lot of them.

I know this is a minority opinion, but the $10 minimum makes me less "angry" at him. Becuase it shows how fucking clueless about the whole thing he is.

I think scam is a strong word for it, because he isn't saying he is collecting the money for kids with cancer or anything. But in the sense that it is a scam, I am less offended by a dumbass scam than a well thought out, well executed scam.

Although, I do see the point that Chris isn't capable of a well thought out scam,

True, however my point is his entitlement. He basicly said "If you donate, you should give me at least $10" making it come across like a demand. People don't have a obligation to give that kind amount as they are free to give whatever they want, even if it's a penny.

He didn't state the sum he needs to pay the mortgage making it more suspicious. As always he leaves it vague making the whole situation into a bottomless pit. Just throwing money into it not knowing when to stop. From my perspective if you can't specify your needs then most likely you don't need it.

I agree, I seriously doubt this is for mortgage or Chris would have sucked it up and started asking for someone to commission him for more Sonichu.
