I think Jim Sterling is becoming more and more like John Bain to be fair, possibly to snaffle his viewers when Bain goes to the great battlestation in the sky?
 
I used to watch jim, but his content got stale and repetitive pretty quickly. I got out as soon as i noticed he entered sjw territory......
 
Nobody likes a whiny immigrant. Don't move to a country, make ample use of its resources and then tell its citizens to fuck off. Just don't.

There was also a little drama about him when he was on TB's podcast (for the third time? - episode 89). From what I can gather, some people disliked him because his was annoying and TB called them transphobic because he loves moral grandstanding. Apparently there were transphobic comments (on the subreddit) but apparently they were deleted so I don't have any proof they were real.

My assumption is that Sterling is already a massive lolcow and TB, provided the mets in his liver don't do him in, will become an ever more prevalent one the further into a Trump presidency we go. That honestly makes me sad. TB is who I went to for pc gaming stuff when I first switched from consoles. They're similar enough that 2 threads might be pointless.

But he gets to live in a country that gets Adventure Time, Regular Show, Rick And Morty on Blu Ray, gets anime and video games in west before any other European country, gets huge conventions where people actually invovled with the likes of Steven Universe guest at, etc. He escpaped the dead end hellhole that is the UK

Me too. Both of them, if they stuck to reviewing games and, in Sterling's case, laughing at shit Greenlight trailers, and kept their monologues to a minimum, would be so much better.
 
I'm not familiar with Total Biscuit, but I was subscribed to Jim's Youtube channel for a few months. I have no idea how he makes $10k/month on Patreon. Sure, he puts out lots of content, but it's dull. His quick looks at shitty indie games are rarely funny, and there's only so many times you can do a blanket rant about DLC, micro-transactions, publisher lies and busted launches before it all sounds the same. What got me to unsub was when I watched a video and heard him say he was supposed to edit out a bit of gameplay but didn't. It wasn't a live stream so there was nothing stopping him from doing that. The fat ass just didn't want to spend 10 seconds.
