Bear in mind this idea that swinging was Kayla's idea is a fourth degree abstraction from a friend of Faran who leaked messages where Faran said that Nick said Kayla told him that she wanted to swing.

We could discuss the veracity of the Faran leaks all over again, expending all the piss and vigour that entails, but in the end we will come to the same end as the interminable Kayla: Retard, Victim, or Both? discussion. What we know about her is sparse (even more so recently) and is almost always filtered through Nick.
There is Also Aaron's confirmation with her justifying it because "I thought that was what he wanted". The problem with this is she used the example of how Nick talked on stream for her reasoning why she thought it was what he wanted. The problem is all of that talk started after "The worst day of my life" stream. When even Aaron admits that Kayla admitted it, albeit blaming the way Nick talked about other women, I think it's pretty clear that that is what happened.

I don't consider Faran a reliable narrator like Aaron, neither do I consider Drexel (because of his MGTOW slant). In reality unless either Nick or Kayla says it was their own idea (not the other's) I won't believe who was the original proponent.
Yes, this is the scenario for a potential 609.378c charge. Not in play at this time, so maybe they don't really think it presented a concern, but seems they could do so, reasonably.
Unless it was especially egregious, I think this and the other gun charge will be the "Well if you take the deal I'll won't tack this on" and will be used as leverage for a harsher sentence depending on the mood of the community at the time (and if the DA/ Judge is up for reelection, they tend not to give sweetheart deals in these cases).

So Kayla went closer to home for her lawyer.
Based out of Montevideo which is about an hour from Spicer.
This is supposedly Maggie Kluver.

This lady looks like she could have Nick's guts for garters if needs be. Perfect!

Appreciate the info from others digging into her background/experience etc. I'm hopeful that she's a good choice (fingers crossed) - looking forward to witnessing some aggressive and compassionate lady lawyering.

MGTOWs are funny cause they at first seem like a step above incels, but then you realise they're a step below. They don't have any of the usual barriers of being hideous or (medically) retarded and so unable to get pussy, they just have such unbearable personalities they can't sustain a relationship with another human being. The whole thing is an elaborate cope for the most unlikeable men in human history.

Drexel is a prey-eyed blerd roleplaying as a race-porno cliche. He has to sling dick around stupid white broads because his own people can smell what he is and reject him rightly.

Let's not, and say we did. I'd rather set my hair on fire and put it out with a hammer. Been done to death.

I gradually adopted the opinion her story is probably true, and that Nick browbeat her into a retraction. It's also possible her story is true, but that Nick is the liar in claiming the swinging was Kayla's idea.

Either way, I don't think it really even matter whether Nick or Kayla started this shit. They were both participants in this bullshit. They are both parents of those kids. They both suck.

At this point, fuck 'em both

Yeah, Nick having Drexel on with increasing frequency during the Vic stuff (and apparently raptly lapping up his bullshit) is actually what caused me to stop watching him. We are judged by the company we keep, and if you take a look at who Nick associates it is not very pretty.

What are the chances that Kayla is the "fall guy" in all of this and Nick has been gaslighting her (as a lawyer) and controlling everything she sees? we know he's secretly working for her in some capacity because of identical filings (including identical mistakes) and considering her pilled up mental state it wouldn't be too difficult to keep her in the dark.
It almost doesn't matter. Sure Nick is a fucking snake who can only be trusted to snake on people, but he's also delusional and incompetent enough he could think he has a surefire plan to win that will just fuck them both over.
Her hiring is more than a little odd. I expected seperate representation in the criminal case for obvious conflict of interest reasons, but I wasn't expecting it in the family law case. She also seems like the total opposite of that guy Nick hired. She really doesn't seem like a "Nick" sort of choice either.
I hope she gives competent advice and is a full service lawyer, that is, tells her that she ain't getting those kids back with Balldo Man and his magic pixie dust around.
Imagine being a family law attorney. How would you be limiting yourself if you had a specialty in divorce without child custody?
In a small town in Minnesota? To maybe a case or two a year. You only see microscopically small specialties like that in boutique firms in big cities or in the kind of firms that take up an entire floor in a skyscraper. The kind of firms millionaires hire where they'd hire the firm to handle a divorce and get a team of half a dozen lawyers to sue the celebrity/CEO/whatever spouse. Most people simply do not have the money to hire multiple lawyers with each one specializing in a tiny part of the case.
It's only flimsy evidence because thus far Kayla has proven unable to be a competent person. Most other people would see the shit Nick does and says about his wife and divorce him.
Most people would have divorced the fucking freak without even the cocaine and child abuse. Just "hey do you want to get into cucking and swinging" would have been the limit for someone who wasn't a doormat. So although I hope her lawyer can tard wrangle her, I'm not terribly optimistic. Unless that shit actually was her idea. It's hard to mind read them. They may just be a match made in Hell.
It is interesting to have separate legal representation in the family case but not in the criminal where the arraignment judge flagged it as a potentially non-waivable conflict of interest.
I was watching when the judge said that. I'm pretty sure Nick will try to do it because the judge said it in a really faggy way.
I don't buy into divorce speculation, but everything about the hiring seems a bit odd. But no more odd than Nick's strange choice of attorney. The rushed hiring of this attorney at such a late stage in the process is also strange.
Don't expect normal behavior from a couple brain-charred druggie burnouts.
tbf a two bedroom one bath home is a barbie dream mansion in LA
No, it's just as much of a shitshack as it is anywhere else. It isn't even in one of the less shitty parts of LA. It just costs as much as a dream mansion in a less melanated location.
Fucking unbelievable. You are facing losing your children and you hire someone with 4 years of actual experience? I haven't looked at her yet, but if what @Strix454 saw is correct, my analysis is: cheap. Or just inexperienced enough to make promises she shouldn't. Or perceived as malleable.
Or it's a recommendation from someone she did good work for. It's a small town. Word of mouth is everything. That's incidentally why Nick is permafucked ever to practice anywhere in his local area.
In 20+ years here, nearly all intentional deaths are the occasional teen suicide (there were 3-5 in my kids' school years, iirc) - with the exception of a well-off dad deciding that that was the day to annihilate the whole family, 3 or 4 kids included.
Even if Nick shows some of those dark traits that Chris Watts kind of person has, most people who do don't actually go there, and as excellent as CPS is at fucking over the lives of well intentioned but dumb people for trivial mistakes, they're absolutely pathetic at stopping things like family annihilators.
Bro, she's an A cup.
The perky A cups are fine, it's the homewrecking coke slut part that's the deal-breaker.
He was aping Ken White (Popehat). Him going with that was actually an insult to White, who was opposed to Vic's lawsuit. White is a more accomplished and knowledgeable attorney though.
White wasn't even particularly anti-Vic, he's just a free speech extremist and in general does not like defamation law at all. Nick was being a pissy little bitch about him. There were a couple Law Twits like that who didn't go out of their way to misrepresent the case but simply took a contrary position without particularly caring about Vic himself. Dunford was one of those, and I'll note that when Nick's defamation case came up, he took Nick's side despite having a marked dislike for him. A couple of those people were just First Amendment fanatics.

It's still cringy as fuck for a dude who fucks up his own traffic ticket cases because he's too high on cocaine to bother to style himself a "Pope" of anything, even ironically.
She doesn't seem unqualified to me and looking from the outside I would definitely retain her over Frank the Barneswalker. It's not particularly a close call either.
Frankly I'd rather have a bright young lawyer with a couple years of practice than some jagoff who has been a bumbling dipshit for 30 years.
The gun charges are a thing they can threaten but you'll never know how it might play out in a trial. The rural areas are more lax on some gun stuff (since he also stored improperly, a state charge they could bring) but the drug + gun charge will hammer him in the eyes of the locals most likely.
I live somewhere with high gun ownership and there is a strong culture of responsibility associated with guns. Even gun owners genuinely despise the kind of people like Nick who justify encroachment on their rights. Even pro-gun people other than puffed up popinjays like Barnes will not look kindly on Nick's shitty gun hygiene.

That was Kayla's doing, not Nick.
It’s both of them that opened their relationship. She asked because he was obviously hinting towards it on stream, and he accepted because it’s what he wanted. I mean, Nick is the one with the next-door crackhead nanny (April) to drop loads into. I hope they both get a jail term, it could be a wake-up call for Kayla but that would end as soon as Nick could spin her a story. Rackets will never concede he did anything wrong, so really a punitive sentence is just what he needs :)
Aaron’s a-logs. They are fully convinced he is a lying sociopath that fakes human emotion and comes across as phony because he gets confused about what emotions to mimic.
Kinda still amused at this. I thought it was a meme first. It could be a three second clip of him drinking water and they’re like: “The mask is slipping.”

The big question is: Does Kayla want the kids back?

Based on her being a pill-popping, cocaine-snorting swinger, I am leaning towards no.

Where did you get the idea that the polyamorous lifestyle was Kayla’s idea? Generally, it’s men who are into poly. It’s why polycules are generally 5 men and one extremely mentally ill fat woman.

Dick Masterson ruined his online reputation by trying to dick two girls at the same time. I don’t see any reason why Nick wouldn’t follow in his edaddy’s footsteps.

Prey-eyed, that's beautiful man.

Nick fucked up by not covering the Baldwin trial. It was just thrown out on a Brady violation.
And to think I've been saying that prosecutors are actually getting good at avoiding Brady violations. Imagine being the fuckup who did a Brady violation in such a high profile case. What a loser. I never thought much of that case as a criminal case anyway. The blame was so attenuated by involving so many fuckups by so many different people that assigning criminal liability to one of them is ridiculous, much like the death of Brandon Lee.

The defense attorney slamming the prosecutor on the stand at the end was some theater worthy of an award.

"Did you ever call Baldwin a cock-sucker when interviewing witnesses?"

"Which witness?" :story:

So glad Nick got back to trial streaming to cover all this live! Oh, wait.

The Baldwin case featured the rare legal situation of the prosecutor calling himself to the stand and being examined by the defense attorney.

I still don't completely understand it, but this was a rather unusual brady violation in that some rando guy sent in material to the police during another case which is said to be evidence but may or may not be actual evidence.

Nick made the right choice though in spending his time today talking to a nobody about American Beauty to an audience of something like three people. Trials are boring compared to content like that.

I got curious based on some thread discussion and went to the depths of internet squalor to find Aaron’s a-logs. They are fully convinced he is a lying sociopath that fakes human emotion and comes across as phony because he gets confused about what emotions to mimic. I’m not exaggerating, I’m quoting almost verbatim from comment threads with dozens of people. The Cumia verse is a retard hell I am never revisiting as close as I just got.

So makes complete sense why Nick is courting those people.
Nick needs a new batch of balldowashers, preferably mentally retarded ones with an internet chip on their shoulder. Aaron's a-logs provide these criteria;.they don't see him as a lolcow, they have a spergy, irrational hate for him, which Nick wants to capitalize on. One of the chief ones, a guy named Karl of Who Are These Podcasts, is a Dick Masterson towel boy.

They're the equivalent of voyeurs 🔭 looking at a woman through her bedroom window and repeatedly getting angry that the woman's reading a book instead of undoing her bra seductively like they've pre-created in their heads.

So to recap, Nick:

A) Missed a high-profile trial

B) Missed a trial of length that even his drug-fried brain could have followed it

C) Missed a very rare legal situation

D) Missed the chance to be a smug prick and go 'OMG! He is LETERALLY ME!'

Not that anything will stop Nick from doing the last one... He is going to skinwalk as Alec for the next few weeks.

The random guy wasn't completely random. He had some connection to the armorer of Rust. There was a police report where the guy claimed the ammo he dropped of came from the set of Rust and the lead investigator heard about the report* today for the first time. None of it was turned over to the defence, seemingly because the lead investigator didn't know and fucked up.

Baker had 40,000 viewers today. Nick didn't even have 4 with the american beauty stream

The Faran leaks (not very reliable), the Aaron leaks (wouldn't be very reliable except he tried to validate her stated reasons). In the end he did follow in Dax's footsteps so that's a moot point.

@Himedall All-seeing Waifu I also want to remind you of her YouTube playlist it wasn't quite a smoking gun but it predates the Aaron admission. Her watching a lot of those videos and even adding them to a playlist was pretty damning.

- Nick will lament that the film is 'misunderstood' in a pontificating manner and rant for 5-7 minutes on a strange tangent and twisted interpretation.

- He will have some pre-written notes that sound scripted and like something you would hear in a second-term literature class

-???????????????????

- Nick will make an uncomfortable amount of gay jokes
You are describing his reaction to body cam video perfectly.

See! This Brady violation in Alec Baldwin's case is proof that a Balldowin is inevitable! The warrant will be thrown out! You'll see! You'll all seeeeeee!!!

You hear Nick's incoherent rambling echo down the halls as the orderlies drag him back to his padded room.
