So I work for a very very smaller technology company. The culture is great and everyone gets a long really well. I’m very happy here. I’ve grown pretty close with one of my managers. We vent to each other all the time about our personal lives and have some very deep meaningful conversations sometimes.

The thing is, I boymode at work, it doesn’t really bother me to do so since everyone has the same work shirts and we all just wear jeans. Yeah I can’t wear makeup that way, but ultimately I’m there to work and don’t really mind too much.

The problem comes from after work. The community we live in isn’t that large. When out and about it’s not unusual for me at all to run into a client.

I’ve recently got comfortable enough to wear women’s clothing in public. I’m worried I’m going to run into one of them and they are going to call my job pissed off that a trans person is working in their system. (We have some clients that are absolute bigots)

Should I let her know in case she gets blindsided one morning?

Na it was different. It was around like 2015 so before the total peak of troons in everything.
Even back then I'd still see the red flags but a lot more got through.

Agreed here. From all my experience with openly gay men, all they want is to be able to take dick without being beaten up for it. A far cry from the troons demanding to be not left alone but fucking worshipped and genuflected to and ignored when they prey on children both sexually and psychologically.

While I agree that the persons reaction over gays was a bit far, their point about gays not being beaten up in grocery store parking lots by the 2000s is accurate.

That claim is annoying as the current crop seem to think that the 90s-00s were terrible times for gays and lesbians, despite there being widespread acceptance and openly gay celebrities on TV.
In both Europe and the USA.

It is a blip on pharma’s bottom line. The true money makers are patented meds for common problems in affluent societies such as obesity. Hormones aren’t under patent. Individual surgeons make bank, but they’re not the main drivers of this.

What is driving this? No, it’s not globohomo or other conspiracy theories. It’s the result of a bunch of complex societal trends intersecting with individual neuroses because reality is messy.

When I attended high school, a female classmate unhappy with being small on top expressed a desire to have implants and nearly every classmate within earshot had a negative WTF reaction. She never did and she seems pretty happy with what she ended up with as an adult.

Now, students that want to chemically mutilate their bodies with HRT and physically mutilate them with SRS are not only encouraged to do so - without parent consent if need be - but seen as heroes for doing it. Even more horrifying are the parents that are willing to force this on their kids. Back in the day, these parents would likely be seen as weird freaks unfit to raise children.
