At first it looked to me like Pat forced this copy on strangers he met in the Bahamas and they promptly disposed of it. Going by the targets he's posted his shooting issues are numerous.
Apart from the already mentioned snatching at the trigger and flinching, his groupings are fucking horrible and so inconsistent it looks like he's trying to shoot way faster than his skill level, and just dumping rounds down range without taking the time and effort to control it.

I was lucky enough to have one of the best speedshooters in the world, Jerry Miculek, for my CCW coach, and he's given me pointers for 3 Gun that always stuck with me.
Break down your shots into stages, don't try to shoot fast straight away, shoot good, as you get good and you get the muscle memory taking over, you'll get faster naturally.
Muscle memory is the key to shooting fast and accurate.
It has to be instinctive, you don't have time to physically line up every shot, that adds seconds to your time when competitions go down to microsecond splits. You have to know by feel when your arm and gun is in this position the shots gothere you get that just by practice and time, repeating the motion over and over until its automatic.

Pat looks like he's doing one of the comical sloppy draws and fast mag changes he was so proud of in that video he posted, and just trying to dump the whole mag downrange as fast as he can, without concentrating on getting his groups tight.
Accurate beats fast all day. When you're accurate, then you can work on fast.
Pat hasn't even gotten basic trigger discipline down.

He most likely never pushes the target out past 7 yards. I can see why he doesn't spend a lot of time there though, he appears to be at an indoor range. Indoor ranges being notorious for the future astronauts with their 7", bare buffer tube, lack of sights, shit tier AR with a muzzle brake would make anyone pack up and leave. Also, removing the chinese comp and barrel and putting his OEM barrel back in would be a good start. It won't help all of his accuracy issues, but it's definitely contributing.

Somehow none of this ever occurred to me, I always had a mental image of him dragging his fat ass to the range where he can barely fit in a booth, hitting the target maybe half the time, and thinking to himself "wow, I did a great job! If only my gun didn't have this quirk to aim down and to the left, I'd be competitive!"
Even if he does go once every year, he's still shit by that standard to be fair. I've seen new shooters who haven't ever held a gun and they still shoot better than lardass, it's almost impressive.

Let me come to Patrick's defense just this one time. I actually worked with Tommy decades ago. He was not a professional bullrider in the usual meaning of the word, but calling him that is understandable. I had never seen a man climb under a bull like that before.
