I've taken White Tail and even Feral Hogs with 5.56 but they're handloads and I load them hot, like top end on the chart, but yeah normally for deer I take a .308 (7.62 NATO FAL actually) if you're going for something like deer or Hog with a 5.56 shot placement is everything, you don't want to be tracking a bolting deer, both for animals sake and because it can taint the meat.

I don't think Rekieta even hunts. I bet if you asked him to dress a buck he wouldn't have a fucking clue where to start.

I WAS going to ask if this now means we should stop demonizing teen pregnancy, if we should stop telling teenagers that being a parent is the worst thing ever and literally the end of the world. But then I remembered that many if not most of the same people making the "kids in the coal mines" argument are also the same people that would probably argue for the age of consent to be dropped to 3 months old and think 14 is the "prime breeding age" or some shit.

It's worth remembering that Nick didn't actually want kids, it was Kayla's life goals. He just saw it as part of being with her.

I'd wager that part of him is now glad they're not on his life so he can max out his hedonism like the degenerate he turned himself into.

Part of me thinks this is PR bullshit, yeah.

I think, behind closed doors, he might understand he's gonna have to cop a plea and he ain't getting away completely clean. He'll cope that the big bad government made it impossible to not.

Though, I dunno. If there's one person I can think of that would take this all the way to trial out of sheer hubris, it would be Nick. This is the same guy that's tanking on Monty, yet still doubling down. Maybe it's different for him when his very freedom is at stake, but I haven't seen evidence of it yet.

Part of me thinks Nick actually wanted to give permission to release the police footage but Barnes was screaming at him not to do that because Barnes knows that will cause 100 new streams and videos about balldo which will cause him to say things he shouldn't.

Also this might be an unpopular take. But I get the feeling Nick is going to get off relatively Scott free. There might be a small probation or the occasional check in but I doubt much is going to happen. This is a first offense and he's also a lawyer (technically) and part of the local community and relatively wealthy. I think the gun charge is just there to strong arm him into taking it seriously and they're basically going to say "you gotta pull up pal" and that'll be it. I don't think him lying about the gun stuff is gonna matter. Nick would have to royally fuck up to give himself genuine consequences.
