This whole situation is so infuriating that it made me log back into my account after months of inactivity.
The whole "lawtuber" defense of Nick and blame the kids is infuriating. According to these weirdos the kids should cook, clean, do laundry, dishes, etc. And now that I think about it, the whole "they should be able to cook/prepare something to eat by themselves" line of argument assumes that either there is food in the house (which, at this point I doubt since the parents were only concerned about drugs and booze and the nanny, who took care of it previously, had left), or the kids should also be responsible for buying groceries, keeping track of what's needed, etc.
For fuck's sake, I've seen kids who can't even remember to brush their teeth and have to be reminded to do it every single time. But no, these sacks of shit think that claiming "chores" is enough to make people forget about the fact that the parents decided that it was more important to them to be swinging with another couple while high and drunk than to take care of their children's basic needs.
If you decide to have five kids, you are making a choice, you brought these kids into the world and they are your responsibility, for the next 18 years (and probably longer) you're going to need to provide for those kids, not just in the "bringing food to the table" sense, you need to provide an environment for them to have a childhood, to not worry about where the next meal will come from, to not have to face some of the harsher realities that they will definitely have to deal with when they grow older. In essence, you need to protect them as much as you can so they can be children, while slowly and (very) carefully preparing them for the uglier side of life so it doesn't come as a shock later on.
These pieces of human trash not only have an economic situation that the average American family can only dream of, not only do they have a gigantic house, they also have a community of supportive people who care about the children, they have family who will drop everything and come running if the need arises, hell, they don't even have to work (and no, streaming is not a real job) and could spend as much time with their kids as they wanted to (when a lot of working parents can barely spend time with their kids during the week because they have to earn a living), but none of this was important to them. The stay at home "mom" needed a full time nanny to care for her children, the alcoholic "father" only mentions his children when he's complaining about how much work it is to drive them around (again, this guy has no set schedule, no real obligations, can do whatever the fuck he wants, but driving his kids to dance class is just "too much" for him).
None of it was good enough for them, the only thing that was important to them was being degenerate pieces of shit, pawning off their kids to whoever could take them to go on swinging vacations, or if the kids weren't that lucky, they got to be in the house while mom and dad lock themselves in their bedroom with two other weirdos who suddenly started sleeping in mom and dad's bed with them. But kids notice, they notice that their parents act like zombies half the time, and the other half they just fight and scream at each other. They notice that there's something wrong, some of them won't even have the words to explain it, the rest will be too embarrassed by the situation and will likely retract into themselves.
The whole thing is so fucked, these people obviously hate their lives, Balldo hates being a dad, hates the responsibility, hates not being able to go out and party whenever he feels like it, and probably, on some level, hates his children. Our wife is just as guilty here though, she participated willingly in all of it, she left her children with a nanny to be in a pill coma 24/7 and when the nanny quit, she let the kids fend for themselves. Both of them deserve whatever they go through at this point.
I don't know if Balldo would have ended up pulling a Chris Watts on his kids and wife like I saw someone mention earlier in the thread, but the fact of the matter is that he hates the life he has, he wants to drink, do drugs and fuck strangers, he wants to drive fast (and drunk), he wants to play pretend he is a "comedian" (just like his friend Dax does). He doesn't want to be part of his community, he doesn't want to contribute, he doesn't want to be tied down by responsibility, and the kids represent everything he doesn't want/hates.
And just as bad as the two sacks of shit that are Balldo and Our Wife, are the legion of grifters with zero decency, zero empathy, zero humanity, and can only look at the situation from the "how can I benefit from this" point of view: "It's all a government conspiracy, but it's also those religious nuts who want to control Nick and are trying to ruin his life because he won't conform, but it's also the kids' fault because they should have been taking care of the house, what's the matter, you never heard of chores?"
I really, really hope that the grandparents are better people than the two freaks they produced, and I hope they are aware of the extent of the problem, are not in full on denial mode, and will put the children above whatever sob story the parents present now. I honestly doubt it, but I hope I'm wrong.
Side note: Ralph desperately trying to gain any sort of relevancy/views/money/attention from this by straight up making shit up is beyond pathetic. Go back to sucking off Fuentes for another shot at being AF's bitch Ralph.
