Even if we take that at face value and don't consider the context of this case, the law itself is clear on what is expected of parents/legal guardians. He cannot stand before the Honorable Judge Gooch-hooch and say "well he's a responsible kid, he's not fragile"

Paula Holmen is the children's ministry director. She's in charge of children's activities for the church and runs the Grace Homeschool Co-op. She manages the co-op, Sunday School for children, AWANA (midweek scripture study group for children, the Rekietas attended and discussed it in their confirmation speeches, Vacation Bible School, and a whole bunch of pop-up activities like Volunteer Appreciation Banquet or Dads and Daughters (fun activity). She's seen those kids a ton for years.

This is not a megachurch. It's a small community that meets multiple times a week as well as directing the home school co-op.
 
We can forget the big picture sometimes and get caught up in the minute details. The sad truth is that despite public pressure and the courts, we probably still will never know what it was on his ceiling he kept staring at.

Not to mention the likilihood of depression or anxiety in any number of the children.

Tldr: not the 16yo's responsibility to take care of the household

To add to this. Nick’s initial explanation of the ceiling cats was that the floor of the gun safe is unfinished and he can hear people walking and “he wants to be quiet”.

The bail hearing video shows this to be false.

My guess is the kids were fucking terrified. The oldest is supposedly the one talking to cops the most, so we may get additional charges as he talks.

Even if we think it's appropriate for a nine-year-old to assume those types of tasks, there's a huge difference between "mummy assigns the job of doing significant amounts of laundry/cooking/childcare" and "I am literally running a household with four feral kids beneath me and a rotating cast of cokeheads." The first is a Duggar situation. That might or might not be okay. The second is expecting a teenager to make order out of chaos. A job that was so overwhelming that the full adult paid nanny said it wasn't worth it and quit.

As the oldest child of 9 kids, with a mother who decided somewhere between the last set of twins and the youngest to go to bed and never come out of the bedroom; with a father who was constantly TDY, I really really miss the butter dish and tripod discussions. You want to talk about kids raising younger kids? Count me out. I gave at teh office.

Virtually everyone I've known whose parents put them in a position to be a primary caretaker to younger siblings grew up to resent their parents, regardless of whether they were equipped to do so. Those situations are way more common in single mom families and the oldest sibling is getting no support from their parent, and end up feeling like neither they nor their sibling are even wanted. It's also worth noting that sibling incest is even more common than parental incest, so if an older kid is always given unlimited access to a younger one, who knows what will go on.

Again, I'm not gonna assign a percentage to it, because I don't want to be held to it, but I agree in general that some people in this thread calling him "Aaron the liar" might be selling him a bit short. He might be lying about some things, but not everything.

There were a couple of parts during the Kino Casino show where, based on my own knowledge, or other knowledge, I found myself saying "Yeah, I actually believe that."

At the end of the day, I don't think Aaron torpedoed Nick. He's probably not as relevant as he wants to be. I think it's now clear a combination of concerned people at the church, and Nick's own behavior on his livestreams, is what brought the fuzz down on him.

Both are funny. The former because Nick is a Godless piece of shit, and the latter because it's never not funny when a cow fucks himself. Especially a narcissistic one like Nick.
 
RE the dirty clothes everywhere. Didn't he espouse or was sponsored by one of those ship clothes to you services? Do you think he did that instead of laundry and had it for the kids as well?
The rakets could have piles of clothes that they never sent back.

I saw a few hundred pages back that July offered to fully fund Cokeita to go to rehab.

He's probably shaking his head in dissapointment and hugging his wife and counting his hundred dollar bills knowing he is better then a coke addict every day of the week. I am unsure if July is a father or not.

Cokeita is on the same level as the Ralphamale. They are just addicts, plain as that, unworthy of their children
