If you have to work to survive, it isn't a choice. (Nobody's going to starve to death if they can help it.) If it's not a choice, or your only other choice is abject poverty, then "it's not enjoyable" is not a reason to avoid working.

Mooching off public assistance when you're able to work is cringe. I have all the respect for people who are too old/infirm/burdened with caregiving to work. I have mad respect for those who work and still need help from the food bank or whatever to made ends meet because the jobs don't hardly cover rent. I have none for brony troons who just prefer not to work and want a tugboat to pay for their transformers, HRT and amhole.
