Not only that, he frames the entire thing to make himself the main victim. All he does is whine about how awful it was for him to be at Rekieta's voluntarily. He's complaining he couldn't sleep, Nick snoring, couldn't fuck in peace, how he was bored they never do anything, other than fight. Poor Aaron. He lived for months in a place he was free to leave at any point and he chose to stay because everything was so awful, and he hated it so much. He was literally in Rekieta's house while his wife was evacuating from his apartment, and only "broke up" with Nick week later.

I'm gonna go with my gut feeling and say he fucking LOVED being there.

I don’t know about all that. However I did find the end of his answer very interesting. Who is Aaron turning over text messages with Nick to? Police, prosecutors, Aaron’s own attorney? He was definitely being vague on purpose.

I just want the filthy interior of that shithole documented and archived if possible. That way, in case the bodycam footage gets sealed somehow, Nick can never try to downplay what he put his poor children through, like he’s trying to downplay everything else in this fucked up mess.
