I agree he'll be offered a deal, and it might even be a deal where he avoids serious prison time as a first time offender. For most people in his situation, it could be as simple as suspended sentence, probation, and mandatory treatment.

If it was just that CPS came over to check things out and there was an unsecured firearm and ammo where one of the multiple children could find it and potentially blow their own fucking head off I might be more likely to support Nick's 2A rights being temporarily stepped on(assuming he is not found guild of a felony because presumption of innocence).
