As a hypothetical. Say Nick is telling the truth about NOTHING being accurate. What could have realistically, possibly happened at the Rekieta home for this situation to have unfolded in the way it did?

Well. If the probable cause statements, arrest information and charging information are not accurate, it would require a vast conspiracy including the local police, the courts, CPS and local prosecutors. What could Nick claim?

1) The drugs are not his. He and his wife have no idea how they got into his bedroom. Perhaps a guest or an intruder left the drugs in Nick's bedroom along with the scales, baggies and snort tubes.

2) The condition of the house was overstated. Kayla and Nick were just busy and they meant to clean up the house later. Or the house was made dirty by intruders.

3) He will convince Kayla to say that the drugs are all hers and that Nick is clean & sober. Kayla will go to prison for 10-20. Nick and April will move to LA.

Nick or his attorney can claim all sorts of things in a case like this. But there is no chance of convincing anyone in the legal system of those claims.

He is going to be offered a deal. If he doesn't take that deal he would be completely and utterly insane. He is already a fool for making public statements to the effect that he is somehow an innocent man. And unless he sees sense soon, they are going to legally bury him. They have him dead to rights with large quantities and firearms. There is no other path than cooperation.
