The request was made. The response from the agency suggests that the footage isn't currently able to be made public. Due to children being on scene, they probably are redacting and censoring the footage for the public in a way that protects the kids. May be a week before it can be released.

From my very minimal experience as an observer, it kinda sucks for kids from wealthy backgrounds that are neglected and/or abused. Because not many people believe them unless it gets really bad.
If you're from a poor background, and don't get enough to eat, and you don't have clean clothes or school books, and your parents are too stupid to hide that they're beating you up, and nobody trusts them - it's easier to justify why you should be taken away and given to a foster family that can at least provide for your basic needs. It's easier for you to realize that your parents are losers and nobody thinks well of them - so why should you.
But if you go to private school, and your parents are respected, and you get holidays and gadgets and toys, and your parents have enough social charm to speak on your behalf and maybe even gaslight you into thinking that you're the problem and the failure, and they can just freely take out anger and frustration on you, and threaten you with psychiatric hospitals and such - you're kinda fucked. You have everything you need and more, and everyone looks up to your parents, and your parents maybe already convinced you that you are a piece of shit, so you can't speak up.

I keep my loaded mags split between a go bag and a chest rig I keep by my rifle and comtacs for any bumps in the night (pistol is either on me or near me or bedside by said rifle when I sleep, it’s basically on or near me like my phone). Everything else is tucked away in locked trunks or locked pelicans or locked ammo cans. That right there speaks volumes on how incompetent he is. Only thing I can think of is he loaded all his mags up and was tossing them under his bed causing rounds to spill out when they hit the ground. And if he’s doing that for his home defense rifle of all things I can’t imagine how poor his management of drugs is around the house.
