I wish we knew more about Anisa's upbringing. Like her "Muslim" household and all that. I would love to be able to mock her about it more but it seems like the details are really vague. We don't even really know if her dad was born in Lebanon or had Lebanese parents. and was westernized by the time she was born. @anisa_jomha_reciepts If you have more info on this I'd love to know.

Turns out, no. They use a special type of fermentation called "lacto fermentation". No yeast required.

From what I've read, they have to do a balancing act of making the brine salty enough that it kills the bad bacteria, but not too salty so it doesn't kill the bacteria actually doing the fermentation.
Game Grumps was well known to do this style of thumbnail, and actually got significant backlash when they stopped, because they were useful for knowing what episode/series it was, as well as the "Grump Heads" being brand recognition at this point. OneyPlays (the better LP channel) Also does this, but Oney actually draws the thumbnails himself, or sometimes even makes models in blender, just for the thumbnail.

Also, Uncle Dane is the person editing the Idubbbz documentaries. In the recent patreon podcast he blames himself for not getting the idubbbz version of the documentary out before Sam Hyde's version (I think he is lying here).
Uncle Dane was the guy who sang the "Hey now you're a Keemstar," notably saying nigger at 0:20

This is what her father looks like. If you saw this guy on the street he would be indistinguishable from any normal white guy. He definitely doesn't look like the type of guy to beat his wife and daughters like a proper Muslim. Whatever version of the Muslim faith they practiced was very restrained compared to the real deal.
