That's what I said. He was only impeached by the house, not the senate. They seem to think that because he was in the House that he should have been removed.

As far as Bob's activity goes, he's still reposting his usual share of weather reports, natural disasters, and Pastor Bagley senpai. Nothing notable as of now. My guess is he's either up to something again or he finally listened to the police and decided to lay low for a bit.

I think he's referring to Luis de Torres, a Jewish friend of Christopher Columbus. He was brought on Columbus's first voyage as a translator. It was a widely held belief that Hebrew was spoken by some of the people of Cathay and Cipango (China and Japan). de Torres's motives were to establish a safe haven (for the persecuted Jews of Spain) in Asia. He remained in the New World after the Santa Maria was shipwrecked, and was subsequently killed by the natives along with everyone else that stayed behind.

Could be a stretch, but this might be what he meant.

I'm betting 5 internets that Bob has had a new minor health issue and has spent all his time fighting with and making official complaints about some poor doctor who has to refuse to do what he says. When we least expect, he'll come storming back with a 45 minute rant about how his 'read a book, take a multiple choice test'-doctorate is so much better than some hoity-toity M.D.
