Alright so there's this new visual novel that's straight up gundam with the serial numbers filed off.

I love it. It's the roleplaying game Ive always wanted in the U.C century. There's plenty of mech fighting games, but there's never been one to my knowledge that seriously tried to portray a situation outside the cockpit.

In this verse, colony's won against the feds. 5 years later you take on the role of security officer on a tiny ship investigating a mystery signal on the edge of space.

The writing is on point, I love the nostalgic vintage PC-98 feel. The crew is a perfectly dysfunctional mess of characters and the layout of the ship systems feels really cool.

There's great atmosphere and personality in this game. I especially like how your explicitly not a badass pilot, and have an aversion to even consider getting in one.

The demo is out now and it's actually pretty meaty, clocking in at 4 hours or so.

100% recommend. Although there is two pieces of bad news

One there's pronouns in the beginning and two one of the characters is a tranny, although I cant really tell what the hell it is considering everyone awkwardly refers calls it them or they.

Not ugly and not overt thank god, but it is there.

Also skip the game preview when you beat the demo. I feel like it gives away too much.
Some crossposting but related, it is a Philippine commercial using Touch from Transformer's for Gundam Wing, Ultraman Tiga, Daimos and Voltes V

Im like 90 percent sure all those shows have been together in some crossover game.

Ok but did they have to have such a Dom-derivative design?

I loved that shit. The ship and it's interior looks like a fed cruiser and Its beautiful. The Gundam references are restrained but legit funny.

The main draw for me is just the idea of being able to explore one of these ships, Interact with the crew and exploit the various systems and equipment on board to get around when all hell breaks lose.

How do you know it wasn't for something mundane like a mining implement that some dude later decided was the Shining Finger of legend?
You know what?, let's be fair and asume the Turn X was Made as a multi purpose mobile suit Made to be capable to do pretty much everything, let's not forget that the Turn A was the one that weaponized nanomachines with the Moonlight Butterfly and the Turn X simply copied that ability

Finished G-Witch. Man the show just turns into nothing but confusing, overemotional melodrama and bullshit plot devices in the last stretch. Seriously, how do you CODE TOMATOES to say "I love you"?! Did Miorine's mom also inject blood into dead Tribbles in her spare time? So much time wasted throughout the season, with Shaddiq's actions and motivations never being clear and Nika being a completely pointless character who only exists to fulfill some retarded Relena Clone quota.
And why the fuck didn't we get a kiss between Suletta and Miorine?

Well, time for me to torture myself. I'm gonna watch Gundam Seed for the first time, starting from the dub.

Bandai making them straight will never not make me laugh my ass off. I enjoyed the show a lot in all honesty but I get why some don't like it.

Original seed dub is cringe, I think I like the new one they just did more

The new one isn't what aired on Toonami, though.

I've got no idea how to tell the difference between dubs, since there's no clear labeling on what's been uploaded to Aniwave. Should I bite the bullet and spend the next 64 hours downloading a Tri-Audio torrent from Nyaa?

It's very simple. Kira sounds gay in the original dub and straight in the new one.

Considering how the show was made to appeal to gaijins it's nothing surprising, it was annoying to see trend chasers and fake fans gushing over it

Again Yuri bait to appeal to westerners and to cash on those sweet ESG shekles, what Bandai didn't really thing through was the fact that most Asia (the most heavy consoomers of everything gundam) don't really take kind to faggy stuff outside the yuri/yaoi circles so the friendship rings debacle was probably a last ditch attempt at appeasing them.

For me the biggest sin of the series wasn't the yuri bait, the lack of coherence or the fact that the whole story was based on an old legend that spoiled the whole plot, it was how they teased one of the best designed mobile suits, the Schwarzette as this big final sub-boss enemy just to completely waste it on the final episodes and toss it to the side

2 episodes into Seed, and I haven't cringed once at the delivery.

Yep, Aniwave is compromised. Now I'll have to look elsewhere for the old dub. Sucks, because I'm sure they still have the ADV Evangelion dub uploaded instead of the Netflix butchering.

EDIT: Wait, turns out Aniwave is even more retarded than I thought. Episode 3 is so blatantly a different dub than the last two, so this has to be the old dub audio. Why and how could you just mix up dub tracks like this?!
